MISSING DISABLED PERSON

Corpus Christi Police Officers would like help from the public to locate a missing, disabled person. 

Ricky Cruz Alvarado was reported missing on June 14, 2018.

Ricky was last seen on June 13, 2018 in the area of the 2800 block of S Staples.  Ricky is described as a 19-year-old male who stands 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 220 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

DEATH INVESTIGATION

Corpus Christi Police Detectives and investigators with the Nueces County Sheriffs Office are at the scene of a deceased person near Petronila.  

Officers are currently in the early stages of the investigation.  A cause of death has yet to be determined.  It is common practice for detectives to  investigate all unattended deaths.  The identity of the individual has yet to be determined but will be released at a later time by the Nueces County Medical Examiners Office.  

No other details will be released at this time.  

Arrest For Continuous Sexual Abuse Of Young Children and Child Pornography

Offenses:  Continuous Sexual Abuse of Children, 1st Degree Felony
Possession or Promotion of Child Pornography, 2nd Degree Felony

The Corpus Christi Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested 43-year-old Mario Moreno on charges of continuous sexual abuse of children and also possession of child pornography.  The children were under the age of 14.

This investigation is still active and ongoing and there exists the possibility of additional victims that have yet to come forward.  Anybody with information concerning this case is encouraged to call the lead Investigator, Senior Officer Michael Ilse at 361-826-2995.

We want to urge parents to speak to their children about internet safety.

  • Create and set clear rules for your child and enforce those rules.
  • Know about privacy settings and ensure that your child uses them.
  • Speak to your child about the danger of befriending those that they do not know.
  • Contact law enforcement if the child reports being solicited, threatened, stalked, or if a person requests to meet the child in person.
  • Ensure that the child does not give out any personal information about themselves, whether it be identifying information or personality traits.

Yvonne Villanueva (10/04/89) was reported missing on June 11, 2018 and was last seen by family members on June 04, 2018. 

Yvonne is described as a 28-year-old female who stands 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs approximately 100 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

UPCOMING MURDER TRIAL

Officials are attempting to make contact with Mike Ramos for an upcoming murder trial and are seeking help from the public to locate Ramos.  He is needed as a witness for this trial.

Ramos also has an outstanding warrant out of Nueces County for Failure to Appear ($5,000 Bond).

Mike Ramos is described as standing 5 feet 7 inches, weighing approximately 295 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes.

Laura Cuellar was reported missing on June 10, 2018.  Laura was reported missing earlier in the week and was located, this is a new report and officers are actively looking for Laura today.

Laura was last seen at approximately 3:30 pm on June 10, 2018 in the area of the 6300 block of SPID.  Laura is described as a 25-year-old female who stands 5 feet 8 inches tall, approximately 190 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.  Laura was last seen wearing a white shirt and light colored shorts.

NUECES COUNTY WANTED PERSON

Nueces County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help to locate 27-year-old Isaac Sauceda  (07/19/1990) who has three outstanding warrants out of Nueces County, 2 for Aggravated Robbery and one for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Felon (No Bond).

Sauceda is described as a 27-year-old male who stands 5′ 11”, weighs approximately 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Detectives need your help identifying this suspected armed robber

Offense: Aggravated Robbery
Case Number: 1806040009 (1st Degree Felony)

Corpus Christi Police Detectives need your help identifying this suspected armed robber. Officers were called to the 3000 block of Waldron and made contact with the convenience store clerk. The clerk stated that a Hispanic male came into the store with a rifle and demanded the cash drawer. The clerk complied and the suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene.

The suspect was described to be approx. 25-35 years of age, medium height with a large build. He had short hair, tattoos on his right upper arm and left waist area. The clerk was not injured and the suspect was last seen running North on Waldron.

Faith and Richard have been located and are safe in police care.  Thank you to everyone who shared, called and assisted us in locating the children!

 

Corpus Christi Police Officers need your help to locate the whereabouts of two missing children.  Faith Horton and Richard Horton have both been reported missing on today’s date.  Both children were last seen at approximately 1:30 pm in the area of the 10600 block of S Padre Island Drive and were last seen with the unidentified male in the photos below.  Faith and Richard were last seen boarding an RTA bus with the male and a third unidentified child.  We will update this post if any additional photos or video are made available for release.  It is urgent that anyone who may have information about the identity of this male, or the whereabouts of the children, please contact officers immediately.

We are also looking to speak with the Bus Driver and/or any passengers that were on the same bus with Faith and Richard.  Any and all information can be helpful in our search.

Faith is described as a 10-year-old female, with blonde hair and blue eyes and is wearing the shirt that is shown in the picture below, along with black spandex shorts.  Richard is described as a 8-year-old male, with blonde hair and blue eyes, and is wearing a light blue shirt and blue jean shorts.

HEAVY EQUIPMENT THEFT

On Friday, June 01, 2018 an unidentified suspect committed a theft of two pieces of heavy equipment from a job site located on the 5400 block of Up River Rd.

At approximately midnight a dark-colored pickup truck loaded up a welder, the same pickup truck returned at approximately 1:40 and loaded up a second welder.  Both welders are described as a 300 AMP Welder on a Trailer, with a combined value of over $16,000.
