Michael Harding was reported missing on January 29, 2022 by family members. Michael was last heard from on December 10, 2021.
Michael is described as a 21-year-old male who stands 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs approximately 210 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Ivie Gutierrez was reported missing on February 22, 2022 by family members. Ivie was last heard from on December 20, 2021. Ivie is known to frequent the Flour Bluff area as well as the Leopard area.
Ivie is described as a 27-year-old male who stands 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs approximately 155 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

In an effort to add clarity to ongoing developments in relation to the Bolivar homicide.
Initial information led investigators to believe that two juvenile suspects were involved in the death of a 17-year-old male. Two juveniles who were initially identified as suspects have been released from custody, pending further investigation. The identities of the juveniles involved have not and will not be made available for release by our department.
Being transparent while maintaining the integrity of an investigation has been and will continue to remain a priority for the Corpus Christi Police Department.

The Corpus Christi Police Department investigated a homicide that occurred on February 19, 2022 on the 2200 block of Bolivar Street. Initial information led Investigators to believe that two juvenile suspects were involved in the death of a 17-year-old male.
Homicide Detectives continue the investigation into the Homicide. Two juveniles were who were initially identified as suspects have been released from custody, pending further investigation.

At approximately 12:39 am on Saturday, February 19, 2022 officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of Bolivar Street reference a shooting. When officers arrived, they located a 17-year-old male who had been shot. Responding officers administered life savings measures on scene until medic units arrived, at which point the male was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Through their investigation, Homicide Detectives were able to determine that the parties were known to each other and quickly identified two suspects. Homicide Detectives secured directives to apprehend for two 16-year-old males in connection with the Murder.
At approximately 8:57 am on Monday, February 21, 2022, Corpus Christi Police Department officers, with assistance from CCISD Police Department officers located and took a 16-year-old juvenile into custody without incident.
At approximately 11:15 am on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, officers with the US Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offender Fugitive Task Force made contact with the parent of the second juvenile and notified the parent of the directive to apprehend. The parent identified a location where the juvenile was currently at. With assistance from Robstown Police Department, the Marshals located and took the 16-year-old juvenile into custody without incident.
Both juveniles were transported to the main police station to be interviewed, before being booked into the Nueces County Juvenile Justice Center respectively.

At approximately 6:00 pm on Thursday, February 17, 2022, officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department’s Gang Unit, US Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offender Fugitive Task Force, with assistance from Texas Department of Public Safety located and arrested Murder suspect 43-year-old Nicholas Alaniz.
Alaniz was located at a residence on the 2900 block of David Street.
Alaniz was being sought on an outstanding Murder Warrant ($1,000,000 bond). While officers were attempting to effect the arrest, Alaniz actively resisted officers in an effort to prevent his arrest and attempted to disarm a CCPD officer. Alaniz was also found to be in possession of black tar heroin and needles used to inject narcotics. Alaniz was also found to be in custody and control of a loaded handgun at the time of the arrest, which was later found to have the serial number filed off.
The murder warrant relates to an incident which occurred on January 14, 2022 at approximately 6:46 am, when officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Lee Street near the intersection of Campbell Street for a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a 28-year-old man who was pronounced deceased on scene.
After his arrest, Alaniz was transported to the Criminal Investigation Division to speak with Investigators. Alaniz was then transported to a local hospital by request, to be treated for an old injury.
Upon his discharge from the hospital, Alaniz was transported to the City Detention Center for processing at approximately 10:20 pm.
Alaniz was booked in on the following charges: Warrant of Arrest-Murder, Resisting Arrest, Attempt to Take Weapon from an Officer, Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Felon, Tamper w/ID Numbers from Personal Property, Possession of a Controlled Substance PG-1, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

At approximately 4:15 pm on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, officers with the US Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offender Fugitive Task Force located and arrested Murder suspect 17-year-old Jose Monsevais.
The officers were able to locate Monsevais at a location on the 4700 block of FM 625. Officers effected a traffic stop with assistance from Jim Well County Sheriffs Office and were able to take Monsevais into custody without incident.
Jose Monsevais was arrested on the outstanding Murder Warrant ($1,000,000 bond) and transported to the Jim Wells County Jail.
Monsevais was identified as a suspect in the February 15, 2022 shooting that occurred on the 2200 block of Prescott Street, that left one man dead.
On February 11, 2022, Detectives with the Corpus Christi Police Department Auto Theft Task Force were following up on a Burglary to a Motor Vehicle case that occurred on a previous day.
During their investigation, Detectives followed up on a lead they received that identified a possible suspect who was attempting to sell property that was believed to be stolen during the Burglary of a Motor Vehicle. The suspect was identified as 31-year-old Jose Montoya. While running a check on the suspect, he was found to have an active warrant out of Nueces County for Failure to Appear.
In their attempts to make contact with the suspect, Detectives observed the male to be driving in a vehicle along the 1000 block of 22nd Street. Upon further observation, Investigators observed the vehicle to be displaying invalid license plates.
Officers made contact with the male, who was positively identified as Montoya.
A further inspection and check on the vehicle, led the officers to discover that the vehicle had been reported stolen in Dallas, Texas on January 7, 2022. The vehicle was recovered on scene.
Montoya was arrested on the outstanding warrant and for the Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle charge. Charges are also expected to be filed for Montoya related to the previous Burglary of a Motor Vehicle case.
During the contact with Montoya, contact was also made with his girlfriend and their infant child who were observed to be following behind the stolen vehicle. The girlfriend was later released on scene with the infant child.
