Corpus Christi Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who is wanted in connection with the writing of several “hot” checks for catering services from Poet’s Family Restaurant.  Financial Crimes Detective L. Mathews was conducting an investigation into a Corpus Christi wedding planner who did not provide the promised services when this theft was uncovered.

Justin Lee Olle (06/14/88) paid Poet’s Family Restaurant approximately $8,400 in checks which were returned for Non-Sufficient Funds.   Detective Mathews obtained a warrant for Justin Lee Olle for Theft, a State Jail Felony, which is punishable by up to two years in jail or a $10,000 fine.  His bond was set at $50,000.

Financial Crimes Detectives continue to investigate the multiple complaints filed against the wedding planner and owner of Justin Lee Designs.
