Corpus Christi Police are asking the public’s assistance to help locate an elderly man who was reported missing on January 8, 2014.  Neighbors of 78-year-old Albert Compton Almaquer are concerned as they have not seen him at the residence since October 2013.

Almaquer, normally a very reliable employee  was employed as a security guard.  He has not shown up to work for the past three months or picked up his mail.  Police believe there is foul play involved in his disappearance.

The Corpus Christi Police Department would like to thank the Media for highlighting our request for help and the community for their thoughts and prayers for Mr. Almaquer.

Mr. Almaquer has been found alive and well.  A friend contacted Detective R.L Garcia and provided Mr. Almaquer’s whereabouts.  Further investigation, revealed Mr. Almaquer had moved without notifying neighbors, family, and friends.
