Corpus Christi Police Property Crimes Detectives would like help from the public to identify or locate the people responsible for a theft that happened January 27, 2014 at 1:43 in the afternoon at the Messiah Lutheran Church located at 4102 Trinity River Drive.

A 57-year-old man reported the theft to the Corpus Christi Police and has provided video of the event. The video shows a man dressed in a long sleeve shirt, denim shorts, white tennis shoes with sunglasses on his head as he peered into the church. The man then gets a tool to unfasten the bench from in front of the church. A second man comes up to help the man until they take the bench which is valued at $400 dollars.
