Corpus Christi Police responded to a business after a man, armed with a knife, entered the store and demanded money.
The store clerk told officers that a Hispanic male, about 6’0” tall wearing a striped shirt, came into the Ace Mart, located at 4750 Leopard Street and threatened him with a knife.
The male suspect was not able to get any money from the business, and then fled on foot.
At this time no suspects have been arrested, and officers continue to investigate this case.

A Corpus Christi Police Officer on patrol observed a vehicle stopped at the intersection of the Crosstown Access Road and South Port Avenue not moving when the traffic light turned green.
The officer saw that the 2008 Volkswagen sedan was not moving, had the headlights on, and the left turn signal flashing. When the officer went to investigate, he observed the driver of the vehicle was leaning forward over the steering wheel, and the car was still in drive. The officer was able to get the car into the park position, and had the female exit the car.
After an investigation, the officer determined the driver was intoxicated. Officers arrested the female, Rosalinda Hinojosa (03/04/1983), for driving while intoxicated and her vehicle was impounded.

Corpus Christi Police responded to an alarm at the Cash & Go business located at 4949 Kostoryz Road.
When officers arrived they observed the glass to the front door had been broken out. It appears as though the suspects entered the business and then attempted to gain entry to the teller area.
Once inside the teller area, they attempted to remove or open the safe. They were unsuccessful and left the business.
The business manager arrived and reported that nothing appeared to have been taken.
