A female store owner called Corpus Christi Police after her store was robbed by a man with a knife.
Officers arrived at the New City Market, located at 6236 McArdle Road, and were told by the store owner that she and her 21 year old daughter were both working at the store when a male suspect wearing a black hoodie, black mask, blue jeans and armed with a large knife came in.
The suspect walked inside took out the knife and told the daughter to get the money. The daughter ran to the back and called for her mother who went to the cash register and opened it.
The suspect took cash and ran out of the store toward the neighborhood behind the store on foot.
Neither female was injured.
Officers did not locate the suspect, and continue to investigate this crime.

A fight between a females boyfriend and her stepdad resulted in one at the hospital, with a stab wound, and the other in jail.
Corpus Christi Police responded to a disturbance call at an apartment located at 4040 Schanen Boulevard. When officers arrived a 22 year old female told them that her step father was asleep on the couch, when her boyfriend woke him up and they began to argue. The female said the two argued because the step father did not like the way the females boyfriend was treating her.
The two began to fight, and the boyfriend knocked the step father to the floor. The step father got up and went to the kitchen, grabbed a knife and stabbed the 25 year old boyfriend in the lower abdomen.
The boyfriend was transported to Spohn Memorial Hospital by CCFD EMS with injuries not thought to be life threatening.
The stepfather, Richard Reyes (01/22/1974), was arrested for aggravated assault.

Two females loaded up a shopping cart full of groceries and then attempted to walk out of a store without paying for the items.
Store employees contacted Corpus Christi Police after they saw the females loading up the cart with groceries, drinks, and pharmacy items. When they walked past all of the cash registers without paying for the merchandise, they were stopped outside the store.
Employees recovered nearly $145 worth of items.
The two female suspects, Stacy Garcia (11/10/1986) and Patricia Ramirez (10/28/1965), were both arrested for theft, a Class B misdemeanor.
