The manager of the Affordable Mini Storage, located in the 4500 block of Weber Road, called Corpus Christi Police after she found one of her storage units had been broken into.

Officers arrived and were told that someone had cut the master lock off one of the front gates to the business. The suspects then entered the property and cut the lock off the roll up door of a storage unit and took items from inside.

At this time no suspects have been identified.

Location: 900 Airport Road / 3700 State Highway 286 South Offense: Serious Injury Crashes

Corpus Christi Police Traffic Officers were kept busy overnight investigating two separate serious injury crashes.

Just before 8 PM, Officers responded to the 900 block of Airport Road for a crash involving a pedal cyclist and a truck.  The crash investigation revealed that the 37 year old man on a bicycle was traveling south on Airport Road.  A 50 year old man was also traveling south, driving his 1993 GMC Sierra truck.  The driver of the truck did not see the man on the bike, who was wearing very dark clothing, and struck him from the rear.

The bicyclist was transported to Spohn Memorial Hospital by CCFD EMS with serious injuries and at last update was in critical condition.

Traffic Officers continue to investigate this crash and at this time no citations have been issued.

Just after clearing from that call at about 9:15 PM, Officers were dispatched to a crash on the Crosstown Freeway South near Port Avenue involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

That investigation revealed that a 40 year old man was driving his Chrysler 300 in the middle lane of the freeway when he struck a 25 year old man who was running across the road. The pedestrian sustained several broken bones and other severe injuries.

He was taken to Spohn Memorial by CCFD EMS for treatment and at last report was in serious condition.
No citations have been issued.

Manufacturing and Delivery of a Controlled Substance H.S.C.  481.113     Second Degree Felony
Case Number: 1511110101
Six people were arrested in the area of City Hall after they approached undercover officers with the Police Narcotics and Vice Division and attempted to sale the Officers synthetic marijuana.

Police were responding to complaints in that area involving the sale of these types of illegal drugs.

All six listed below were arrested for manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance, a second degree felony.
