Location: 4535 SPID
Offense: Aggravated Assault, Public Intoxication
Case Number: 1707030001

Corpus Christi Police Officers were dispatched to 4535 SPID (Izzy’s) in reference to a fight with weapons. Upon arrival officers observed multiple subjects and one of them holding a knife. Officers detained the 29 year old male suspect.  Officers contacted the 35 year old male victim, an employee of the bar, who stated the suspect was with a group of people inside the bar. One subject in the group was intoxicated and not allowed to have any more drinks. Other people in the group were sneaking drinks to that suspect and were asked to leave when caught by the staff. When the subjects were asked to leave the suspect became aggressive towards the victim. The bouncers got involved and forcibly removed the subjects from the bar and were hit while escorting them out. Once outside the suspect, instead of leaving,  pulled out a knife and told the victim and other employees “what now?” Employees feared for their safety and called the police. Officers arrived and arrested Jason Paul Ramirez (06-26-1988) for aggravated assault and Primitivo Thomas Molina (08-14-1990) for public intoxication. Both suspects were transported to the City Detention Center.
