Corpus Christi Police Detectives want your help to identify a pair who caused damage to a local laundry mat.

An unidentified female used a bat to smash the front door to the business and then proceeded to damage a vending machine, causing $500.00 worth of repairs to the business.

Officer Kyomi Muniz was welcomed back to work today after recovering from injuries sustained in the line of duty accident on January 31, 2020. We are happy that you are healthy and back to full duty.

As our community stays home more, we want you to be mindful of the added stress this can place on your family. The added strain of losing a job, locating groceries, and paying bills can cause tempers to rise. It is our hope that being mindful of these stressors will cause you to think before acting out against a loved one. The Corpus Christi Police Department wants to remind our community it is never acceptable to strike a spouse. Should you find yourself a victim of family violence please call 911 so an officer can respond to provide you assistance. If you have any questions, please call the non-emergency number at 361-886-2600 and you will be directed to the proper section to get the assistance you need. If you need immediate assistance, please do not hesitate to call 911. Be safe and take care of one another.

With Passover and Easter this week, we want to remind the community of social distancing and the need to avoid social gatherings to help eliminate COVID-19. We want to remind you that the Stay at Home Order is still in effect and does apply to all gatherings. We understand that you may wish to spend these days with family and friends but we all have to do our part to stop the spread, this means observing these days at home.
