At approximately 3:15 PM on May 24, 2019 Corpus Christi Police Officers were dispatched to a convenience store located on the 1300 block of 3rd Street in reference to a male suspect filming or taking pictures under a bathroom stall.

Upon arrival, Officers were advised by a Father that his 10-year-old Daughter had been improperly photographed or videoed while in the restroom. The father advised that they were out running errands when his 10-year-old Daughter had to use the restroom. The Father advised that he stopped at the convenience store and parked outside of the store, keeping the 10-year-old within view as she was to run in and out of the restroom. When the 10-year-old ran out of the store in a hurry, the Father asked if everything went ok, at which point the 10-year-old told her Father that “it was creepy”. When questioned about her statement, the 10-year-old advised that as she was using the restroom a man’s hand reached under her stall, holding a gold in color iPhone. The 10-year-old advised that she immediately tried to cover herself from the view of the camera and quickly exited the bathroom.

Upon review of the camera footage, the suspect enters the women’s restroom with a phone in hand and spends approximately 12 minutes in the women’s restroom and may have recorded other women improperly. The suspect is described as a White or Hispanic male, approximately 35-45 years of age, 5’06-5’08, 155-165 pounds, dark hair, wearing a gray and white color ball cap with what appears to be a purple emblem, black or dark colored Oakley style sunglasses, blue or purple and white stripe polo shirt, khaki golf shorts and black tennis shoes.

The Investigators were able to obtain a copy of surveillance images which shows the suspect walking in and out of the women’s bathroom.
