MURDER SUSPECT ARRESTED

At approximately 2:08 pm on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, a supervisor with our Corpus Christi Police Department’s Gang Unit recognized an offender who had an outstanding warrant for Murder.

18-year-old Eddie Quesada was an offender in the November 27, 2020 homicide that took place on the 7900 block of Grizzley.

Two warrants for Murder and Aggravated Assault were issued shortly after the Grand Jury convened on June 25, 2021 and returned a True-Bill for Quesada related to the incident.

Officers with our Gang Unit and the US Marshal Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Fugitive Task Force attempted to effect a traffic stop on the 5200 block of McArdle.  The driver of the vehicle took off at a high rate of speed in an effort to evade from officers and subsequently caused a traffic crash with an unrelated vehicle.

Officers were able to take two males into custody without further incident.

18-year-old Eddie Quesada was arrested on the Murder and Aggravated Assault warrant ($750,000 bond), Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance PG2 and Possession of Marijuana.

18-year-old Roman Felan was arrested and charged with Evading Arrest and Hindering Apprehension.
