We are aware of a recent scam that has come up where someone is calling on behalf of the Corpus Christi Police Department and demanding money or needing to serve someone with a subpoena.

This is all false. The police department will not call you asking for money, and we do not serve subpoenas.

If you receive a phone call that appears suspicious simply hang up. remember to never give personal or sensitive information over the phone to someone you do not know.
