On February 27 at about 3:30 am a CCPD officer observed several males breaking into various vehicles in a complex parking lot located in the 5700 block of Timbergate Dr.
The males were seen getting into a vehicle and continued checking vehicle door handles in the lot. The males were also observed breaking into an enclosed trailer.
Back up officers arrived to assist and were able to stop the vehicle. 4 individuals were detained.
Officers were able to recover property and located 2 handguns.
22-year-old Ryan Lopez and 21-year-old Nathaniel Cooper were arrested for burglary of vehicle 2x, criminal trespass, engaging in organized criminal activity, unlawful possession of a criminal instrument.
27-year-old Joshua Carrizales was arrested for burglary of vehicle 2x, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, criminal trespass, engaging in organized criminal activity, and unlawful possession of a criminal instrument, and a warrant.
18-year-old Adam Perez was arrested for burglary of vehicle 2x, unlawful carrying of a weapon, criminal trespass, engaging in organized criminal activity, and unlawful possession of a criminal instrument.
All four males were transported to the city detention center.
