The Auto Theft Task Force at the Corpus Christi Police Department is urging gun owners to keep their firearms secure. Too often, guns left in unlocked vehicles are stolen, putting our community at risk. 

🚫 Leaving a firearm in your car, especially unsecured, makes it an easy target for thieves. Take the extra step to protect your gun, yourself, and our community.

Remember:
🔹 Always remove your gun from your car if possible.
🔹 If you must leave it in your vehicle, secure it in a locked compartment.
🔹 Never leave firearms in plain sight.
