We are coming to a closing for our 83rd Corpus Christi Police Department Physical Assessment Testing.
We will be hosting the Physical Fitness Test on Tuesday, May 9th at 5:30 pm and Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023, at 5:30 pm for our upcoming CCPD 83rd Police Academy projected to begin September 2023. It’s a great way to gauge your strengths and know what you need to work on to move forward in this process.
The practice test will take place at the main police station (321 John Sartain, Corpus Christi, TX 78401). Applicants will meet us at the gated entrance directly across from Whataburger on the Bay (Water St. side of the building). Check-in time will be between 5:00 pm – 5:30 pm, so we can start promptly at 6:00 pm.
During the practice test, instructors will explain and demonstrate each phase of the physical fitness test. We will also be available to answer any questions you have about any phase of the testing and hiring process. As a bonus for attending the practice test, applicants who successfully complete the course will receive a PAT waiver that will be valid for up to 30 days. That means you will only need to pass the written examination on your scheduled test date.
