CCPD Detectives need your help in identifying this burglary suspect pictured.

This male suspect recently broke into several business offices in a downtown building after working hours. He was caught on security video.

CCPD Detectives need your assistance in identifying this theft suspect. This male was caught on security camera taking someone’s personal property at a local store earlier this month.

UPDATE. Dianne has been located.

Corpus Christi Police Detectives need your help in locating 68-year-old Dianne Wyant. Dianne was reported missing by her family.

Dianne was last seen several months ago and is known to frequent the Flour Bluff area. Dianne is approximately 5’6” and weighs 160 pounds, and has brown hair and green eyes,

On September 19, 2024, at about 3:42 pm officers were dispatched to the 4300 block of Schanen Blvd. in reference to a vehicle crash. Updates stated a vehicle had rolled over.

Officers arrived to find a single vehicle flipped over in the middle of the roadway. They contacted the driver and sole occupant of that vehicle. During the investigation intoxication was suspected.

The driver was administered a field sobriety test.

The driver, 42-year-old Amanda Clegg, was ultimately arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. She was transported to a local hospital for medical clearance then transported to the City Detention Center for booking.

Clegg struck an occupied parked vehicle. There were no reported injuries in this incident.

On September 6, 2024, at 3:20am, CCPD officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Green Earth Dr in reference to a shooting. A roommate called in stating they heard shots then discovered someone was shot.

Officers arrived on scene and located a deceased 25-year-old female inside of the home, with an apparent gunshot wound.

 Robbery Homicide Detectives were called out to investigate.

The roommates were taken to the main police station for interviewing.

Detectives are following up on leads and this is still an active investigation. We do know this is not a random act of violence.

UPDATE: During the investigation Detectives were able to secure a Murder warrant for 22-year-old suspect Devaughan Marquise Williams in connection with the deceased 25-year-old female.   At approximately 3:51 pm Williams turned himself in at 901 Leopard St. (Nueces County Jail).

Williams was transported to the police department main station for interviewing.

Willaims was later transported to the City Detention Center for booking where he was charged with Murder.

CCPD Auto Theft division is looking to identify the two males involved in stealing this motorcycle last month from a local apartment complex.

On September 2, 2024, at about 8:17 am officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Agnes St. in reference to a man down call. A motorist called in that they had observed a male on the ground and did not appear to be moving.

Officers arrived and located a deceased male near a building, away from the roadway. The male had apparent trauma.

Officers began to contact any pedestrians in the area and attempt to locate any nearby security video.

The investigation continues.

UPDATE: During the course of the investigation Detectives were able to locate surveillance video and positively identify the individuals involved.

Detectives were able to secure a Murder warrant for 46-year-old Ruben Martinez in connection with the death of the 33-year-old male victim.

Martinez was located by the CCPD Gang Unit who was actively patrolling and searching the area of Nueces Bay Blvd. and Antelope St. He was transported to the Police Department main station for interviewing.

Martinez was finally transported to the City Detention Center where he was booked and charged with Murder.

This remains an active investigation.

On Sunday, September 1, 2024, at 6:40pm, officers were dispatched to the 5500 block of Everhart Road in reference to a shooting with injuries.

Officers arrived and located two gunshot victims. Medics transported the victims to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary information obtained is the victims were involved in a botched robbery and were shot by an unknown subject.

Officers are actively investigating the scene.

UPDATE:

During the investigation officers were able to locate 21-year-old John Perez at a business in the shopping center and identify him as being involved. During that time officers were able to review security video and contact witnesses.

Ultimately Perez was arrested and charged with 2 counts of Aggravated assault w/deadly weapon, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance pg3<, possession of a controlled substance pg2>, and possession of dangerous drug.   This is still an ongoing investigation.
