MISSING FAMILY LOCATED

The US Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offender Fugitive Task Force, FBI, and Corpus Christi Police Department have located the missing family from the recent Amber Alert out of O’Fallon, Missouri. The family members are safe.

At this time the case is still an ongoing and active investigation in which CCPD is assisting in.

DOWNTOWN BURGLAR

CCPD Detectives need your help in identifying this burglary suspect pictured.

This male suspect recently broke into several business offices in a downtown building after working hours. He was caught on security video.

THEFT SUSPECT

CCPD Detectives need your assistance in identifying this theft suspect. This male was caught on security camera taking someone’s personal property at a local store earlier this month.

HELP US LOCATE MISSING PERSON

UPDATE. Dianne has been located.

Corpus Christi Police Detectives need your help in locating 68-year-old Dianne Wyant. Dianne was reported missing by her family.

Dianne was last seen several months ago and is known to frequent the Flour Bluff area. Dianne is approximately 5’6” and weighs 160 pounds, and has brown hair and green eyes,

CRASH RESULTS IN DWI ARREST

On September 19, 2024, at about 3:42 pm officers were dispatched to the 4300 block of Schanen Blvd. in reference to a vehicle crash. Updates stated a vehicle had rolled over.

Officers arrived to find a single vehicle flipped over in the middle of the roadway. They contacted the driver and sole occupant of that vehicle. During the investigation intoxication was suspected.

The driver was administered a field sobriety test.

The driver, 42-year-old Amanda Clegg, was ultimately arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. She was transported to a local hospital for medical clearance then transported to the City Detention Center for booking.

Clegg struck an occupied parked vehicle. There were no reported injuries in this incident.

UPDATE: OVERNIGHT SHOOTING

On September 6, 2024, at 3:20am, CCPD officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Green Earth Dr in reference to a shooting. A roommate called in stating they heard shots then discovered someone was shot.

Officers arrived on scene and located a deceased 25-year-old female inside of the home, with an apparent gunshot wound.

 Robbery Homicide Detectives were called out to investigate.

The roommates were taken to the main police station for interviewing.

Detectives are following up on leads and this is still an active investigation. We do know this is not a random act of violence.

UPDATE: During the investigation Detectives were able to secure a Murder warrant for 22-year-old suspect Devaughan Marquise Williams in connection with the deceased 25-year-old female.   At approximately 3:51 pm Williams turned himself in at 901 Leopard St. (Nueces County Jail).

Williams was transported to the police department main station for interviewing.

Willaims was later transported to the City Detention Center for booking where he was charged with Murder.

STOLEN MOTORCYCLE

CCPD Auto Theft division is looking to identify the two males involved in stealing this motorcycle last month from a local apartment complex.
