UPDATE IN SEARCH FOR BURGLARY SUSPECT

Detectives from the Corpus Christi Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division, along with Officers from the Crime Reduction Unit, have intensified their efforts to identify the suspect responsible for the recent burglaries at the Caspian Apartments, located at 5901 Weber Road.

Over the past several weeks, detectives and officers have been actively engaging with residents, going door-to-door to discuss safety precautions such as locking doors, staying vigilant, and being aware of their surroundings. They have distributed flyers featuring a police sketch and physical description of the suspect. Additionally, they have collaborated with the apartment management team—who have been highly cooperative—to explore ways to enhance security within the complex. As part of these efforts, management granted officers access to search vacant apartments to ensure no one was trespassing.

Meanwhile, patrol officers and the Violent Crimes Unit continue to maintain a strong presence in the area, frequently patrolling the complex to deter criminal activity and ensure residents’ safety.
