MISSING DISABLED PERSON

Corpus Christi Police would like help from the public to locate a missing, disabled person.  Mr. George Gonzales was reported missing on April 24, 2018 by family members.  Mr. Gonzales suffers from Alzheimer’s and is in need of medical assistance for additional health concerns.

Mr. Gonzales was last seen in the residential area near Holly/Flynn at approximately 1:00 AM.  Mr. Gonzales is described as a 60-year-old male, who stands 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 220 pounds.  Mr. Gonzales is partially bald, with white hair on the sides and light brown eyes.  Mr. Gonzales was last seen wearing a dark-colored t-shirt, black pants, black baseball cap with a red biohazard symbol and wearing eye glasses.  Mr. Gonzales is missing all of his fingers on his right hand and has a noticeable limp while walking.

NARCOTICS OFFICERS SHUT DOWN FLOUR BLUFF DEALER

CCPD Narcotics and Vice Division officers concluded a month’s long investigation into drug dealing in the Flour Bluff Area Tuesday afternoon, serving a search warrant at a residence on the 1200 block of Baywood Lane.  During the search, Investigators found and seized nearly three pounds of hydroponic marijuana, one and a half ounces of THC wax, approximately one ounce of THC oil and three-quarters of an ounce of THC edibles. In addition, Investigators seized $18,000 in cash, three vehicles, two semi-automatic handguns, a shotgun, and a gun safe, all believed to be used in or proceeds from drug sales.

As a result of the raid, Investigators arrested Eli Copeland (DOB: 9-11-2000), Leslie Garcia (DOB: 3-28-1997), and Amanda McKenzie (DOB: 2-16-1984).  Copeland and Garcia were both charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, while McKenzie was charged with possession of a controlled substance.  Investigators had received numerous complaints from the community regarding suspected drug dealing from the residence, and used multiple investigative techniques to obtain the search warrant.

Corpus Christi Police would like help from the public to locate a missing, elderly person. Mr. Robert Sanchez was reported missing on April 5, 2018.  Mr. Sanchez suffers from Alzheimer’s and is in need of medical assistance for additional health concerns.
Mr. Sanchez was last seen in the area of Moore Plaza around 11 AM.  Mr. Sanchez is described as an 78-year-old male, who stands 5 feet 11 inches tall, approximately 175 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.  Mr. Sanchez was last seen wearing a two-toned blue and black shirt, navy blue pants, tennis shoes and a black Korean War Veterans Cap.

TWO OFFICERS PLACED ON PAID ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE

Two Corpus Christi Police Officers have been placed on paid administrative leave due to their involvement in the officer involved shooting.   This incident occurred in the early morning hours of April 04, 2018.  The administrative leave is in accordance with current  department practice and policy.

Senior Officer Gilbert Cantu has been a police officer with the Corpus Christi Police Department for 6 years.  Officer Gabriel Cantu has been a police officer with the Corpus Christi Police Department for 5 years.

POLICE NEED YOUR HELP TO LOCATE MISSING DISABLED TEEN

UPDATE: Jonathan has been found safe and is back with his family.

Corpus Christi Police Officers would like help from the public to locate a missing, disabled teen.

Jonathan Galvan was reported missing on April 1, 2018 and was last seen approximately one hour ago.   Jonathan is a special needs child and has the mentality of a 5-year-old.
Jonathan was last seen walking away from a business in the 4700 block of Ayers.  Jonathan is described as a 16-year-old male who stands 5 feet 10 inches tall, approximately 135 pounds, with dark brown hair and brown eyes.  Jonathan was last seen wearing a green or blue polo shirt, which was tucked in, blue jeans and a belt.
