A 23-year-old woman reported a burglary to her home located at the 1000 block of Golden Gate Circle to the Corpus Christi Police Saturday. The 23-year-old woman told Officers she returned home from a trip to San Antonio and discovered her front door was pried open and two televisions with a total value of about $3,000 dollars were missing from inside her home.

Corpus Christi Police arrested 19-year-old Paig Williams (2/22/1994) for a warrant of arrest for resisting arrest in Tarrant County Sunday after she was found in West Guth Park after curfew. Williams was delivered to the city detention center.

Offense: Aggravated Robbery (Penal Code Section 29.03) 1st Degree Felony

Case Number: 1312150032

A 55-year-old woman reported an aggravated robbery at a convenience store located at 3238 Buddy Lawrence Drive Sunday to the Corpus Christi Police. The 55-year-old woman told Officers she is an employee of the store and a man went into the store at 2:40am, displayed a knife, and demanded cash from the register. The 55-year-old woman told Officers the man got cash and cigarettes and then left the store. No injuries were reported. The 55-year-old woman described the suspect to Police as a man who was about 5 feet 8 inches tall, 180 pounds, and wore a gray hoodie and a blue bandana over his face. No arrests have been made.

Offense: Driving While Intoxicated (Penal Code Section 49.04) Class B Misdemeanor

Case Number: 1312130182

Corpus Christi Police responded to a vehicle crash that involved three vehicles at Curtis Clark and Staples at 11:34pm Friday night. Corpus Christi Police Crash Investigators believe a white 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by 24-year-old Hector Garcia (9/26/1989) crashed through a fence and then struck a gray 2012 Nissan Altima operated by a 23-year-old woman and then struck a red 2008 Ford Fusion operated by a 28-year-old woman. None of the vehicles had passengers other than the operators. All three were taken to the hospital for treatment of their non life-threatening injuries and the vehicles were towed due to damage. Garcia was treated and released from the hospital and arrested for driving while intoxicated. Corpus Christi Police collected a specimen of his blood and then delivered him to the city detention center.

Offense: Reckless Destruction (Penal Code Section 28.04) Class C misdemeanor

Case Number: 1312140073

Corpus Christi Police provided traffic control for a brush fire on Padre Island Saturday afternoon. Police discovered a 24-year-old man drove his vehicle in an area not open to the public and where vehicles were prohibited and the vehicle became stuck. Officers and Fire Fighters believe heat from the vehicle caused the grass to ignite and burn an unpopulated area of Padre Island. No injuries were reported. Corpus Christi Police received a criminal complaint against the 24-year-old man for Criminal Trespass and Reckless Destruction. No arrests have been made and Police continue to investigate.

A 27-year-old woman reported a burglary to her home located at the 600 block of Cunningham Street Saturday to the Corpus Christi Police. The 27-year-old woman told Officers she arrived home and discovered some unknown person broke the front door to her home without permission while the home was left unattended between 7:15pm and 10:40pm Saturday night. Corpus Christi Police Officers made sure no person was inside and then the 27-year-old woman told Officers her game console was missing. No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.

Offense: Robbery (Penal Code Section 29.02) 2nd Degree Felony

Case Number: 1312160025

A 58-year-old man reported a burglary at his home at the 700 block of Harmon Street Monday morning to the Corpus Christi Police. Corpus Christi Police responded to a fight at the 700 block of South Port Avenue at 4:25am and found an injured 26-year-old man. Witnesses told Officers that the 26-year-old man leaped over a fence, fell, and struck his head on a brick that laid on the ground. The witnesses directed Officers to a 58-year-old man on the 700 block of Harmon and the 58-year-old man told Officers the 26-year-old man had just committed a burglary at his home. The 58-year-old man told Officers he heard a noise in his living room and went to investigate. The 58-year-old man told Officers he discovered his television missing, so he went outside to look around. The 58-year-old man told Officers he saw 26-year-old Lupe Sanchez (1/2/1987) with his television and he confronted Sanchez. The 58-year-old man told Officers Sanchez dropped the television and then fought with the 58-year-old man, and then stole the wallet from the 58-year-old man. Witnesses told Officers Sanchez then jumped the fence and injured himself. The wallet and television were returned to the 58-year-old man. Sanchez was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries and then arrested for burglary of a habitation and for robbery. Sanchez was then delivered to the city detention center.

Corpus Christi Police are investigating a single vehicle crash at the Stevens Water Plant Friday morning. Corpus Christi Police were notified of a vehicle submerged in the water at the facility, but the person who called was unwilling or unable to meet with Officers at the crash scene. Officers discovered a red 2008 Ford F-150 pickup truck negotiated a turn at the 13100 block of Hearn, but left the roadway and crashed through the fence, and then came to stop in the water at the facility. Corpus Christi Police notified the water department and have summoned additional resources to recover the vehicle.

Offense: Warrant of Arrest (Code of Criminal Procedure Section 15.01)

Case Number: 1312120153

Corpus Christi Police arrested 26-year-old Christopher Schibi (11/11/1986) at his home on the 3800 block of Cassowary for a warrant for his arrest for Accident Involving Injury or Death related to a crash on September 15, 2013. A 23-year-old woman reported to Corpus Christi Police she was stopped at a red light at Nile and South Padre Island Drive in her black 2008 Toyota Highlander at 2:00am on September 15, 2013, when she was struck from behind by a black 2007 Chevrolet Silverado operated by Schibi. The 23-year-old woman told Officers she did not know Schibi and he left without providing information. The 23-year-old woman got the license plate of the Silverado as it fled. Corpus Christi Police Crash Investigators gathered the information and evidence to obtain a felony arrest warrant for Schibi on December 4, 2013 because of the injury caused to the 23-year-old woman. Schibi was delivered to the city detention center on December 12, 2013.

Corpus Christi Police arrested two people for theft after Officers discovered stolen property from auto burglaries in their vehicle on the 9100 block of South Padre Island Drive Friday morning. A Corpus Christi Police Officer stopped to assist a green 1996 Ford E-150 van which was stopped without the hazard lights flashing in traffic near the exit ramp for Flour Bluff Drive on the Oso Bridge. The Officer spoke to 25-year-old Brittany Snyder (8/26/1988) who was seated in the passenger seat. Snyder told the Officer the vehicle ran out of gas and the driver, 27-year-old Nathan Partney (10/20/1986), left to seek fuel and took the keys with him. The Officer chose to summon a wrecker to recover the vehicle because it was midnight and the van was at a high risk to be struck by vehicles on the freeway. The Officer discovered identification and credit cards which were reported stolen from several area vehicle burglaries. The Officer arrested Snyder and Partney for theft. Snyder was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia for contraband the Officer discovered and both Snyder and Partney were delivered to the city detention center.

A 53-year-old man reported his blue 1999 Lincoln Towncar stolen from in front of his home located at the 4000 block of Brentwood Drive Thursday to the Corpus Christi Police. The 53-year-old man told Officers he has the only keys to the vehicle and does not know who may have taken the vehicle.

A 44-year-old woman reported her white 2009 Lincoln Navigator stolen to the Corpus Christi Police Wednesday at a store located at 3829 Highway 77. The 44-year-old woman told Officers she left her vehicle parked and unattended in the parking lot at about 4:00pm with the doors unlocked and the keys on the driver’s seat for about fifteen minutes while she shopped and found the vehicle gone when she returned. The vehicle has not been found.

A 45-year-old woman reported her gray 2000 Nissan Sentra stolen from a school parking lot Wednesday to the Corpus Christi Police. The 45-year-old woman told Officers that her son drove the Sentra to school and lost the key. The 45-year-old woman told Officers when she went to the school to deliver a second key, she discovered the vehicle was gone and taken by someone without permission. The  vehicle has not been found.

Case Number: 1312110015

A 27-year-old woman reported a burglary to her vehicle Wednesday to the Corpus Christi Police at an apartment complex parking lot located at 6533 Patti Drive. The 27-year-old woman told Officers some unknown person entered her vehicle while it was parked and unattended for about twelve hours and the person took her purse, a pistol and ammunition from inside the vehicle. The investigating Officers recorded no indication of any forced entry into the vehicle.

Case Number: 1312110114

A 54-year-old man reported several weapons stolen from his home located at 1010 Behmann Street to Corpus Christi Police Wednesday. The 54-year-old man told Officers he left his home unattended from about 6am until about 9:30pm and discovered his three pistols, a rifle, and a shotgun missing from his home when he returned. The 54-year-old man told Officers he suspects a person he knows may have entered his home without permission and stole the weapons. No arrests have been made and the weapons which have a value of about $6,000 dollars have not been recovered.

Corpus Christi Police arrested 34-year-old Mario Martinez (10/24/1979) for theft at 6101 Saratoga Boulevard Wednesday. Corpus Christi Police responded to a shoplifting complaint at 3:30pm. A 21-year-old store employee reported to Corpus Christi Police that a man filled a backpack with merchandise and ran out of the store and provided a description of the suspect. A Corpus Christi Police Officer found Martinez nearby and discovered evidence of the crime. The Officer arrested Martinez for theft, returned the merchandise to the store, and delivered Martinez to the city detention center.

Case Number: 1312120012

A 43-year-old man reported a burglary to a pharmacy located at 4501 Ayers Street Wednesday. The Corpus Christi Police responded to a burglary alarm at 4:38am and discovered the front glass door was broken. Corpus Christi Police Officers made sure no person was inside and waited for an employee to arrive. The 43-year-old man arrived and identified himself as an employee to Officers. The 43-year-old man reported medication and cigarettes taken, but would require an inventory conducted to determine the exact loss.

Corpus Christi Police arrested 31-year-old Guadalupe Cruz (10/15/1982) for buying prescription medication with a forged prescription from the pharmacy at 5702 Weber Road Wednesday.

Case Number: 1312110031

Corpus Christi Police arrested 34-year-old Jose Contreras (11/21/1979) for Assault on a Peace Officer, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a felon, Resisting Arrest, Fail to identify as a Fugitive from Justice, several warrants for his arrest, and theft at a store located at 609 South Staples Street Wednesday. Corpus Christi Police responded to a complaint of a theft in progress at 9:55am. A 26-year-old employee told Officers that 25-year-old Amber Perez (12/25/1987) put merchandise in a bag in an effort to conceal and steal the items valued at about $20 dollars while Contreras provided a distraction. Officers arrested Perez for theft and then Contreras fought with Officers. Two Corpus Christi Police Officers were taken to the hospital for treatment for injuries as a result of the fight and Contreras was delivered to the city detention center.

Offense: Theft (Penal Code Section 31.03) State Jail Felony

Case Number: 1312100061

Corpus Christi Police arrested three men for a burglary of a vehicle at a store located at 3829 Highway 77 Tuesday. A 36-year-old man reported a burglary to his company truck at 1:45pm. The 36-year-old man told Officers he left the vehicle parked and unattended for about 15 minutes, and when he returned to the truck, a woman waited by his truck who told him she saw several men take tools from his truck. Corpus Christi Police Officers announced the suspect’s description over the radio and within minutes, Deputies from the Nueces County Sheriff’s Office had located the suspects. An investigating Officer went to the Deputies location and arrested 30-year-old Daniel Contreras (3/29/1983), 32-year-old Rodolfo Rodriguez (10/22/1981), and Rogelio Campos (1/3/1976) for theft and delivered them to the city detention center. The tools were returned to the 36-year-old man.

Corpus Christi Police arrested two women and a 16-year-old girl for theft at the 6100 block of Saratoga Boulevard Wednesday at about 12:50 in the morning. Corpus Christi Police responded to a shoplifting complaint and were provided a description of the suspects and their vehicle. A Corpus Christi Police Officer stopped a blue 2008 Dodge Avenger which matched the description of the suspect vehicle and discovered evidence of the crime. The Officer arrested 22-year-old Melanie Garcia (7/19/1991), 21-year-old Mary Amador (7/19/1991) and a 16-year-old girl for the theft. The Officer found three other passengers, a 16-year-old boy, another 16-year-old girl, and a 2-year-old boy, in the vehicle and they were released to a responsible adult who was summoned to the scene. Garcia and Amador were additionally cited for inducing curfew and delivered to the city detention center. The 16-year-old girl responsible for the theft was delivered to the Nueces County Juvenile Detention Center. The Officer then impounded the vehicle.

Offense: Possession of Substance in Penalty Group 2-A (Heath and Safety Code Section 481.1161) Class B Misdemeanor

Case Number: 1312100039

A Corpus Christi Police Officer was flagged down Tuesday by a store employee at a shopping center located at 5858 South Padre Island Drive to investigate a possible shoplifting suspect. The Officer contacted the suspect, 24-year-old Joe Lugo (10/5/1989) and discovered contraband. Lugo then ran from the officer toward McArdle. The Officer caught Lugo and then delivered Lugo to the city detention center for the charges of possession of synthetic marijuana and evading arrest.

A 19-year-old woman reported a burglary to his vehicle at a shopping center parking lot Tuesday. The 19-year-old woman told Officers an unknown person broke the window to her green 2014 Ford Mustang while it was parked and unattended and took a backpack left on the passenger floorboard.

Case Number: 1312110005

A 23-year-old man reported a robbery at a restaurant located at 4126 Staples Street to the Corpus Christi Police Wednesday morning. The 23-year-old man told Officers a man went into the restaurant, displayed a handgun, and demanded money from the register. No injuries were reported and the 23-year-old man told Officers the suspect left with money from the restaurant and ran to the apartment complex located at 802 Berry Street. No arrests have been made. The 23-year-old man described the suspect to the Officers as a man who wore a red shirt underneath a dark blue sweat shirt with a hood, black warm-up pants with a white stripe on the outside of each leg, black tennis shoes, black and white gloves, and his face was covered with a mask.

Offense: Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle (Penal Code Section 31.07) State Jail Felony

Case Number: 1312090115

Corpus Christi Police arrested 42-year-old William Beckwith (7/21/1971) for Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle at the 2000 block of Morgan Avenue Monday. A 22-year-old man reported his company truck, a white 1998 Ford Econoline E-350, taken without consent from 6225 South Padre Island Drive at 5:47pm. Officers then investigated a suspicious person at 2002 Morgan Avenue at 7:41pm and found the stolen E-350. The Officers at Morgan Avenue investigated 46-year-old Lonnie Mosley (12/15/1966) who approached strangers with an offer to use a credit card to pay for gas in exchange for cash from the stranger for a less amount than the fuel. Officers investigated Mosley which led Officers to Beckwith in the stolen truck. Officers then arrested Beckwith for Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, and arrested Mosley for Possession of Drug Paraphernilia. The Officers returned the vehicle to the 22-year-old man, and then delivered Beckwith and Mosley to the city detention center.

Offense: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Health and Safety Code Section 481.115) 3rd Degree Felony

Case Number: 1312090100

Corpus Christi Police arrested several people for possession of a controlled substance at 4444 Weber Road Monday afternoon. The case started when Corpus Christi Police responded to an attempted robbery call at 3957 Saratoga Boulevard at 11:47am. A 31-year-old woman told Officers a man approached her at the gas pump and displayed a handgun. The 31-year-old woman described the suspect vehicle to Officers. The Officers found a black 2009 Chevrolet HHR which matched the suspect vehicle description on the 4400 block of Weber Road and stopped the vehicle to investigate. The Officers found no evidence to support a robbery attempt; but, did discover the four occupants of the black HHR had contraband. Officers arrested 33-year-old Lina Garza (4/15/1980), Justin Olivares (2/13/1985), 29-year-old Crystal Tumlinson (3/11/1984), and a 16-year-old boy for Possession of a Controlled Substance which the Officers believed to be methamphetamine. Officers delivered the three adults to the city detention center and then delivered the 16-year-old boy to the Nueces County Juvenile Detention Center.

A 36-year-old woman reported a burglary at her apartment located at 4014 Montego Drive to the Corpus Christi Police Monday. The 36-year-old woman told Officers her nine year old son was in his bedroom when a man opened the unlocked window and began to crawl inside. The 36-year-old woman said her child screamed which prompted the suspect to leave without taking any property or causing any damage.

An 18 year old woman and a 19-year-old man reported an attempted robbery at 3802 Caravelle Parkway Tuesday morning. The man and woman told Officers they were in the parking lot of the apartment complex when they were approached by a man who displayed a handgun and demanded their valuables. The man and woman told Officers they told the suspect they had nothing of value, and the suspect left without having taken anything. No injuries were reported. The man and woman described the suspect to Officers as a man with dark skin who stood about 6 feet tall, about 170 pounds, and wore  a black hoodie and gray sweatpants.

Corpus Christi Police took a 14-year-old girl into custody for theft on Brawner Parkway Monday night. Corpus Christi Police responded to a disturbance between a mother and daughter at about 8:38pm at an apartment complex located at 4625 Kostoryz Road. A 43-year-old woman told Officers her 14-year-old daughter walked away from the apartment complex with a 16-year-old boy. Officers contacted the juveniles and discovered evidence from a burglary reported December 8, 2013 at 4228 Ayers Street. Officers then took the 14-year-old into custody and delivered her to the Nueces County Juvenile Detention Center.

Corpus Christi Police arrested 21-year-old Jerry Adkins (9/9/1992) for Driving While Intoxicated at the 1700 block of Mary Street Tuesday morning. A 23-year-old man reported to Corpus Christi Police that a maroon 1997 Dodge Ram operated by Adkins struck three parked vehicles along Mary Street. The 23-year-old man told Officers that he flagged down Adkins and made Adkins return to the crash scenes. Officers discovered Adkins was intoxicated and arrested Adkins for Driving While Intoxicated. Officers impounded the Dodge Ram. Officers took Adkins to the hospital for a medical evaluation and to collect a specimen of his blood and then delivered Adkins to the city detention center.

Corpus Christi Police investigated a major single vehicle crash at Interstate 37 at North Port Avenue Sunday night. Corpus Christi Police responded to the vehicle crash at 11:20pm and discovered a gray 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt left the highway and struck a pole. A 34-year-old man was extracted from the vehicle and taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries. Crash Investigators from the Corpus Christi Police Traffic Safety Section continue to investigate the crash.

Corpus Christi Police investigated a major single vehicle crash at interstate Highway 37 at North Clarkwood Road Saturday morning. Corpus Christi Police responded to a single vehicle crash at 1:28am in which a blue Hyundai Accent left the highway onto the grass, returned to the roadway and rolled. A 25-year-old woman was removed from the vehicle and taken to the hospital with serious injuries. No other person or property was involved in the crash. Crash Investigators from the Corpus Christi Police Traffic Safety Section continue to investigate this crash.

A Corpus Christi Police Officer conducted a traffic stop at the 5500 block of Ocean Drive when she observed a white 2012 Ford Mustang travel faster than the posted speed limit at 11:58pm. The Officer discovered the driver, 20-year-old Herbert Beltran (8/2/1993) had consumed alcoholic beverages before he operated the vehicle. The Officer impounded the vehicle and arrested Beltran for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol because Beltran is less than 21 years of age and had evidence of alcoholic beverage consumption while he operated a motor vehicle on a public roadway. The Officer released the 20-year-old female passenger at the scene and delivered Beltran to the city detention center.

The 30-year-old woman told Officers she left her vehicle parked and unattended and some unknown person broke the door handle to her white 2002 Ford F-150 to gain entry into her truck and then tear out the stereo valued at about $400 dollars from her dash.

Corpus Christi Police arrested 32-year-old Kevin Cervenka (5/28/1981) for theft at a store at 5626 Saratoga Boulevard Sunday. Corpus Christi Police responded to a shoplifting complaint at 1:20pm when store employees chased Cervenka as he left the store with $600 dollars worth of merchandise without paying. Cervenka got into a white 2003 Ford F-150 and left the parking lot. A Corpus Christi Police Officer stopped the vehicle and arrested Cervenka for Theft and Criminal Mischief. The Officer impounded the truck, returned the merchandise to the store, and delivered Cervenka to the city detention center.

A 55-year-old man reported a burglary to a business at 3515 South Padre Island Drive to the Corpus Christi Police Sunday. Corpus Christi Police responded to a burglary alarm at 7:57pm and discovered a broken window. The 55-year-old man arrived and told Officers he is an employee of the store and a television valued at about $1,600 dollars was missing.

A 54-year-old man reported a burglary to a business at 4228 Ayers Street to Corpus Christi Police Sunday. Corpus Christi Police responded to a complaint of an alarm at the business at 11:42pm and a witness saw a man run from the store with some object and the man wore a dark blue hoodie and blue jeans. Officers were not able to locate the man with the hoodie and blue jeans but did discover the front glass door to the business was broken. The 54-year-old man arrived and told Officers he is an employee of the store and that a laptop computer valued at about $470 dollars was missing.

Corpus Christi Police arrested 23-year-old Johnny Barrera (8/8/1990) five warrants for his arrest and arrested 21-year-old Rosa Ramos (8/18/1992) for Hindering Apprehension. Corpus Christi Police developed information that Barrera, a fugitive wanted for five area burglaries, was at a hotel at 6033 Leopard Street. Officers met Ramos at the hotel room and were provided false information in an effort to conceal Barrera. Officers found Barrera and arrested him for the five warrants for his arrest. Ramos was arrested for Hindering Apprehension of a Fugitive and a municipal court warrant she had for her arrest. Officers then delivered Barrera and Ramos to the city detention center.

Corpus Christi Police recovered stolen firearms Saturday morning from a home on the 3100 block of Royal Court and from a home on the 4200 block of Snow Bird. The firearms were taken from parked and unattended vehicles on Elvis Drive, Clearbrook Drive, and Springbrook Drive Friday morning.

A Corpus Christi Police Officer conducted a traffic stop on the 3300 block of Dunbarton Oaks Street after he saw a silver 2000 Buick LeSabre with a broken tail light. The Officer discovered contraband and arrested the four occupants of the vehicle for Possession of Marijuana. The four occupants were 19-year-old Michael Gonzalez (8/6/1994), 18-year-old Jonathan Fernandez (9/27/1995), 19-year-old Fabian Lopez (5/7/1994), and a 15-year-old juvenile male.

The Officer discovered information that the four had stolen weapons at their homes and Corpus Christi Police Investigators worked with Wardens from the Texas Parks and Wildlife and agents from the Federal Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms to obtain a search warrant. Officers, Wardens, and Agents went to the homes and recovered all the stolen firearms along with the ammunition, night vision, and other items taken in the vehicle burglaries.

The three men were delivered to the city detention center and the juvenile male was delivered to the Nueces County Juvenile Detention Center. The four were charged with possession of marijuana and more charges are expected. The Buick was taken to the city impound lot. The investigation continues in this case.

Corpus Christi Police arrested two men Friday morning for burglary to a vehicle at an RV park located at 5402 Leopard Street. A 20-year-old man reported a burglary to the Corpus Christi Police and explained to Officers that two men took a tool box from a parked and unattended black 2009 Chevrolet truck at about 1:30 in the morning. The 20-year-old man told Officers the two suspects loaded the toolbox, which contained about $70 dollars worth of tools, into a maroon 1992 Chevrolet S10 pickup. Officers saw a pickup in the RV Park that matched the suspect vehicle description and stopped it to investigate. The Officers discovered evidence of the crime and arrested 45-year-old Ricco Caceres (11/3/1968) and 42-year-old Manuel Trejo (12/31/1970) for burglary of a vehicle. The Officer returned the toolbox to the owner, impounded the suspect vehicle, and delivered Caceres and Trejo to the city detention center.

Corpus Christi Police arrested two people Thursday in the parking lot of Phillip Dimmit Pier. Corpus Christi Police responded to a complaint of two people consuming narcotics in a parked red 2004 Honda Civic at 10:27am. An Officer approached a woman seated in the driver seat, 40-year-old Dionne McIntosh and smelled an odor of burned narcotics. The Officer discovered what he believed to be methamphetamine and arrested McIntosh for possession of a controlled substance (a 3rd degree felony) and for possession of drug paraphernalia. The Officer also arrested the male passenger, 23-year-old William Modglin (10/27/1990) for a warrant for his arrest for a parole violation. The Officer impounded the vehicle and delivered McIntosh and Modglin to the city detention center.

Corpus Christi Police arrested three men after they attacked a nightclub employee at 5413 Staples Street. A 33-year-old man told Officers that he is an employee of the night club and he told three men to leave because the club closed at 2am. The 33-year-old man told Officers the three men attacked him and caused minor injuries. The Officers found the three suspects in the parking lot of the club. The Officers believed the three men intended to wait for the 33-year-old man to leave the club and the three men would attack the 33-year-old man again. The Officers arrested 21-year-old Manuel Huerta (12/14/1991), 23-year-old Jason Pacheco (6/24/1990), and 24-year-old Ricco Bentancur (12/1/1989) for assault and transported the three men to the city detention center.

The 25-year-old woman told Officers that the man then displayed a handgun and demanded cash from the register. The man left the store and has not yet been apprehended. The 25-year-old woman described the suspect as a Hispanic male about 20 years in age, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, about 170 pounds and wore camouflaged shorts, black tennis shoes with red laces, and a red shirt with a large screen print on the front.

Corpus Christi Police responded to a business alarm at 1:12am Thursday morning and discovered a burglary at 4101 Highway 77. A 53-year-old man arrived after the Officers and told Officers he is an employee of the business and reported medication taken from inside the business. Officers learned an unknown person broke the front door to the business to gain entry while the building was unoccupied and took the medication without permission. A store employee reviewed video and described the suspect to Officers as a person who wore a gray sweatsuit with a black hoodie, black hat, and a white cloth that covered their face. Police continue to investigate and the suspect has not been apprehended.

Corpus Christi Police arrested 20-year-old Justin Wilmont (9/7/1993) for burglary of a building Thursday at the 2700 block of Greenwood Drive. A Corpus Christi Police Officer saw Wilmont walk on the sidewalk at the 2700 block of Greenwood Drive at 3:22am with a ceiling fan and extension cord. The Officer stopped Wilmont to investigate the unusual circumstance and discovered the fan and cord valued at about $300 dollars was taken without permission from a nearby apartment complex that is under construction. The Officer arrested Wilmont and delivered him to the city detention center for burglary of a building.

Corpus Christi Police arrested two women Wednesday morning for stealing Christmas decorations from homes on the 4700 block of Gayle Drive. Corpus Christi Police responded to a complaint of two people in a dark colored Cadillac who stole decorations at 1:40am at the 4700 block of Gayle Drive Wednesday morning. A Corpus Christi Police Officer stopped a maroon 1993 Cadillac Touring Sedan on the 5700 block of Killarmet Drive. The Officer saw several inflatable decorations in the back seat. A 52-year-old woman approached the Officer and explained the two women in the vehicle stole the decorations and identified the houses where the decorations belong. The Officer arrested 26-year-old Tara Speer (1/29/1987) and 31-year-old Deborah Harrison (7/2/1982) for theft. The decorations were returned to the owners. The Officer impounded the vehicle and delivered the two women to the city detention center. Speer was additionally charged with possession of marijuana for contraband found in the vehicle.

A 30-year-old man was seriously injured Thursday morning in a vehicle crash at Saratoga Boulevard and Staples Street. Corpus Christi Police responded to a vehicle crash with injuries at 2:10am. Corpus Christi Police Crash Investigators believe a white 2013 GMC Acadia driven by a 21-year-old man entered the intersection when a red light was displayed and struck a green 2008 Toyota Prius driven by a 30-year-old man. The Acadia and the Prius were only occupied by the drivers. The force of the impact caused the Prius to strike a black 2006 Nissan Altima occupied by five people.

The 30-year-old man was taken to the hospital with what Officers believe are serious, but not life-threatening injuries. The 21-year-old man was also taken to the hospital with what Officers believe are not life-threatening injuries. The five occupants of the Altima did not report any injuries. Crash Investigators believe alcohol may have been a contributing factor in this crash and continue to investigate. No arrests have been made and the two men remain in the hospital for medical treatment.

Corpus Christi Police arrested 21-year-old Benjamin Ireton (3/3/1992) for Robbery and for Resisting Arrest at a store at 1821 South Padre Island Drive Wednesday. Corpus Christi Police responded to a complaint of a robbery at 11:10am. A Corpus Christi Police Officer saw Ireton, who matched the description of the suspect, near the store. Ireton attacked the Officer before the Officer gained control and placed Ireton in handcuffs. A 24-year-old man reported to Corpus Christi Police that Ireton took a toy valued at about $20 dollars and attacked the store employee when confronted about the shoplifting. The Officer delivered Ireton to the city detention center for robbery and for resisting arrest.

Corpus Christi Police arrested two people for aggravated robbery at a shopping center at 5488 South Padre Island Drive Wednesday. A 34-year-old man reported to Corpus Christi Police that a man and woman stole clothes from a store in the shopping center and pointed a gun at the 34-year-old man when he confronted the suspect about the shoplifting. No injuries were reported.

Video surveillance was shown to Officers and a Corpus Christi Police Officer recognized the robbery suspect. The Officer went to the area of Mussett and Lotus and found the two robbery suspects. Officers discovered evidence of the crime and arrested 22-year-old Benjamin Elizondo (6/25/1991) and 19-year-old Emma Reyes (6/16/1994) for Aggravated Robbery. The Officer then delivered Elizondo and Reyes to the city detention center.

Corpus Christi Police Narcotics/Vice Investigators executed a search and arrest warrant at the 2500 block of Dunbar Street Wednesday.

Investigators went to a house on the 2500 block of Dunbar and executed a search warrant. During the search they discovered over $3000 in cash and 578 grams of marijuana with an estimated street value of $7,500 dollars. Investigators arrested Rebecca Alcala (6/3/1987) for possession of marijuana, a state jail felony.

Ruben Galvan (9/10/1991), was also arrested on a separate charge for possession of marijuana.

The 15-year-old girl told Officers she knew her attacker and Officers are searching for a 16-year-old boy believed to be responsible for the assault. No arrests have been made and Investigating Officers believe the 15-year-old girl will recover from her injuries.

Corpus Christi Police arrested three people for an aggravated robbery that happened on the 4500 block of Yolanda Drive and caused a nearby school to be placed on lockdown Tuesday. A 22-year-old woman and a 48-year-old man went to a house on the 3100 block of Yolanda Drive at noon Tuesday to sell car wheels. The potential buyer went inside the home and returned with two men armed with a handgun and took the wheels by force. Corpus Christi Police arrived and arrested 21-year-old Janet Ramirez (1/8/1992), 26-year-old Ricardo Green (1/5/1987), and 22-year-old Ira Roberts (12/31/1990) for aggravated robbery and delivered the three suspects to the city detention center.

Corpus Christi Police arrested 24-year-old Nicolas Maxwell (7/6/1989) for aggravated assault on a peace officer after Maxwell attacked a Corpus Christi Police Officer at the bus stop at 5314 McArdle Road Tuesday afternoon. A Corpus Christi Police Officer responded to a complaint of a possibly intoxicated man in the roadway on the 5300 block of McArdle Road at about 4:00pm. The Officer found Maxwell at the bus stop who matched the description and approached to check the welfare of Maxwell. Maxwell grabbed a nearby brick and attacked the Officer by attempting to strike the Officer with the brick. The Officer arrested Maxwell and delivered him to the city detention center for Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer and Resisting Arrest. The Officer was not struck by the brick and was not injured in the event.

Corpus Christi Police arrested 19-year-old Ronald Dubuque (9/9/1994) for racing his red 2013 Chevrolet Camaro on the 5900 block of Weber Road at 11:26 am Tuesday. Dubuque was additionally charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The Officer then delivered Dubuque to the city detention center.
