Amy stands at a height of 5 feet 1 inch and weighs approximately 110 pounds. She has a name tattooed on her top left arm.

On July 17, 2025 at 4:37 am, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Horne Rd. in reference to a shooting. After officers arrived, they located a 20-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds. The male was transported to a local hospital with critical, but non-life-threatening injuries.
The Corpus Christi Police Department’s Gang, Violent Crimes, Drone, and K9 Units, as well as the U.S. Marshal’s Violent Fugitive Task Force and NIBIN detectives, worked in unison to investigate this incident thoroughly. During the course of the investigation, officers were able to identify and obtain warrants for three individuals for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity.
CCPD officers were able to locate and arrest Christian Martinez (18), Fabian Rodriguez (19), and Jesse Rodriguez (49).

UPDATE: Offender CHAD WAYNE RODNEY (53) was medically cleared at a local hospital and transported to the City Detention Center for booking. RODNEY was charged with (6) counts of Aggravated Assault on a Peace officer, and (2) counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
On Monday July 7, 2025, at 11:00 pm, Officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department, along with the Corpus Christi Fire Department, were dispatched to the 4600 block of Ocean Dr. in reference to an Unknown EMS call.
Officers arrived and began initiating verbal contact with a male through the front door of the apartment. The male began firing rounds through the front door of the apartment, then stepped into the breezeway and began firing rounds in both directions towards Officers. One Officer sustained a gunshot wound to the leg. Another Officer returned fire, striking the suspect in the leg.
The Officer and the suspect were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
As per department policy, the involved Officers will be placed on administrative leave.

On July 4, 2025 at 8:28 pm, officers were dispatched to the 7000 block of Gulf Beach Rd in reference to a shooting.
After officers arrived, they located a female in her 30s with a gun shot wound. The female was transported to a local hospital in critical but stable condition.

On July 3rd, 2025 at approximately 10:43 pm, officers were dispatched to the 6100 block of Saratoga Blvd in reference to a shooting.
After officers arrived, they located a juvenile male with a gunshot wound to his upper extremities. The male was transported to a local hospital in critical but stable condition.
This is an isolated incident and it is actively being investigated.

The Corpus Christi Police Department is requesting your assistance in locating a missing female. Melinda Martinez, age 58, was last seen in December 2024. Melinda suffers from early stages of dementia.
Melinda stands at a height of 4 feet 10 inches and weighs approximately 110 pounds. Melinda is homeless and is said to frequent the Staples Street Station, Mother Teresa Shelter, and the area of Horne Rd./Columbia St.

On Sunday June 8, 2025, at approximately 2100 hrs., officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of S. Staples St. in reference to a major vehicle accident involving a pedestrian.
When officers arrived, CCFD was administering CPR to a 69-year-old male. The male was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
It was determined that the male was trying to cross the roadway, not at an intersection or crosswalk, when he was struck by an oncoming vehicle. The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene after the accident and immediately called for emergency services.
