On April 15, 2026 at 7:52 pm officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department were dispatched to the area of Weber Rd and Tripoli Dr in reference to a Shooting. 

After Officers arrived, they located a 17 year old male with a single gunshot wound and immediately began administering first aid until medics arrived. 

Detectives with our Criminal Investigations Division were dispatched to the scene due to the nature of the injuries. It was later determined that a disturbance occurred and a weapon was produced. At this time, multiple witnesses have been transported to Main Station to be interviewed by CID. 

The male victim was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. 

No arrests have been made at this time.
