The warrants were issued April 28, 2014 from the 319th District Court. Rodriguez is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Corpus Christi Police Property Crimes Detectives believe they captured the man responsible for several purse thefts in Corpus Christi and surrounding areas Monday night.

The Corpus Christi Police Property Crimes Detectives investigated three particular thefts at grocery stores in Corpus Christi which occurred on May 23, May 28, and June 8, 2014. Detectives released images of the suspect to the local media and received information to accuse 29 year old Ryan King (10/24/1984) of theft. Corpus Christi Police Detectives obtained a warrant for arrest for King on June 30, 2014 and the U.S. Marshal’s Gulf Coast Fugitives and Violent Offenders Task Force went to King’s residence on the 2800 block of Austin Street to arrest King. King saw Law Enforcement in front of his home so King ran out the back of the house and into the waiting Officers who arrested King. King was charged with four warrants for theft and evading arrest. Officers delivered King to the city detention center.

Detectives thank all the members of the community who assisted with the identification and apprehension of King.

Man Wanted On Warrants

The Corpus Christi Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in helping them locate a wanted person. Enrique Perez Pesina (01/16/1990) is wanted on two outstanding arrest warrants. One warrant is for Failing to Register As A Sex Offender the other is for a Parole Violation regarding an Assault charge. He is 5’4 and 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. There is no bond set on one of the warrant and $15,000 on the other.

Corpus Christi Police Property Crimes Detectives would like help from the public to identify and locate a person accused of theft from a store located at 3829 U.S. Highway 77 Access. Loss prevention employees made the complaint to the Corpus Christi Police of the theft and provided images of the suspect who stole an air conditioner valued at about $500 dollars. The employees  described the suspect to Officers as a 20-year-old man with light-colored skin, about 6 feet tall and about 180 pounds and wore a tan cap, stripped shirt and khaki pants. The Loss prevention employees confronted the suspect as he left the store, but the suspect ran from the employees and left the merchandise behind. Detectives would like help from the public to identify and locate the suspect in this case.

Corpus Christi Police Property Crimes Detectives would like help from the public to identify and locate a person accused of theft from a store located at 5425 South Padre Island Drive. Loss prevention employees made the complaint to the Corpus Christi Police of the series of thefts and provided images of the suspect who stole men’s clothing on June 3, 7, and 12. The employees told Officers they believe the same man conducted each of the thefts and described the suspect as a 20-year-old man with light-colored skin, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 160 pounds.

Corpus Christi Police Property Crimes Detectives would like help from the public to identify and locate the person responsible for a theft at 9850 Leopard Street on June 5, 2014. A 59-year-old woman reported the theft to Corpus Christi Police at 4:52pm and explained to the Officers that an unknown woman came into the store, loaded a cart full of merchandise, and left the store without paying for the merchandise. Detectives have obtained images of the suspect and would now like help from the public to identify the person responsible for the theft.

The 59-year-old woman described the suspect as a 40-year-old woman who stands about 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs about 250 pounds, and wore sunglasses, a pink shirt, and black pants. Man Accuses Group of People Stealing Wine and Candy from Store

Corpus Christi Police Property Crimes Detectives would like help from the public to identify and locate five people responsible for theft from a convenience store located at 9602 South Padre Island Drive on May 29, 2014. A 27-year-old man reported the theft to the Corpus Christi Police and provided a video of five people who came into the store and stole wine and candy bars.

The 27-year-old man described the suspects as one woman with blonde hair and four men with dark hair. The 27-year-old man told Officers one of the men wore black shorts with a blue panel on the sides, a maroon shirt with white lettering and black slip on sandals with black socks. The 27-year-old man told Officers a second male suspect wore a gray shirt, khaki shorts and a black and white cap worn backwards. The 27-year-old man said the third male suspect wore a black shirt with a pink CB on the front with khaki shorts and black tennis shoes. The 27-year-old man told Officers the fourth male suspect wore a black tank top shirt with a Batman logo, khaki shorts and black tennis shoes. A video of the man in the Batman shirt has been posted which recorded the man take a bottle of wine from the store display, conceal the bottle underneath his clothing, and then walk out of the store without paying for the merchandise. The Corpus Christi Police Department Property Crimes Detectives are looking into three separate theft cases that involve purses being stolen over the past few days at the HEB Store located at 3133 South Alameda St. The reports show that female victims have placed their purses in the shopping cart and when they were looking at groceries, or distracted for a moment, the purse is taken. In one of the cases the offender was followed out of the store by an employee. The suspect ran west on Reid Drive behind the store, and then north on Hoffman Street where he ran through a backyard and jumped the fence. The suspect then was seen crossing S. Alameda St. and he ran onto the property of Incarnate Word Academy. The suspect is described as being between the ages of 18 and 24, standing 5’8 to 6’0’ tall, weighing 165 to 185 pounds with black hair. Images from cameras at the store show the suspects in these cases either walking into the store or walking out.
