ARREST MADE: $10,000 IN TOOLS & FIREARMS STOLEN FROM 6 VEHICLES IN 2 HOURS

The Corpus Christi Auto Theft Task Force has arrested individuals connected to a vehicle burglary spree targeting 6 vehicles in just two hours. Over $10,000 worth of high-dollar tools and multiple firearms were stolen.

The suspects traveled from Houston and targeted vehicles with valuables left in plain sight. They were caught the following day in possession of the stolen property, thanks to swift and coordinated investigative efforts.

Because many of the victims had marked their tools or recorded serial numbers, detectives were able to quickly identify and return the stolen property to the rightful owners.

This is a strong reminder for our community:

đź”’ Lock your vehicles
đźš« Don’t leave valuables or tools visible
🔫 NEVER store firearms in your vehicle overnight
🛠️ If you must leave tools in your work truck or vehicle, mark them and keep a record of serial numbers

Let’s prevent the next crime of opportunity—if you like it, lock it.
