Corpus Christi Police officers were dispatched to the area of 6100 Pebble Beach in reference to a burglary in progress. Information on the call advised that several witnesses were following the suspects as they were fleeing the scene. An officer arrived and detained one of the suspects who had jewelry and a black hoodie in his possession. Officers were checking the area for the other two male suspects. An officer was flagged down in the area of 4700 Wooldridge by a citizen who advised that she saw a subject run into a back yard. Officers checked the area and located a male suspect, wearing a light blue collared shirt and blue jeans, who appeared to be out of breath on Shea Pkwy near Killarmet. Information was put out that a suspect wearing a grey shirt and dark blue basketball shorts was walking near Everhart and Holly. Officers found the suspect matching the description walking quickly and sweating profusely. All three suspects were detained and transported back to the scene.

Officers contacted the victim of the burglary in the area of 6100 Pebble Beach. The victim advised that she was shocked to find the door to her residence kicked in and her house burglarized. All three suspects were positively identified by witnesses. Officers were also advised that the suspect wearing the light blue collared shirt and jeans threw a gun over a fence on Champions. A handgun was later discovered in a pool in the area of 4600 Champions. Officers arrested Adrian Camacho (4-1-2001), Damon Leija (5-30-2001) and a 16 year old male suspect. Adrian and Damon were transported to the City Detention Center and the juvenile male was transported to the Nueces County Juvenile Justice Center.

This was an excellent example of the community and CCPD working together to catch these three suspects.

Corpus Christi Police Detectives have released a surveillance image of a suspect they believe stole a wallet from a mail delivery store, located on the 3800 block of S Padre Island Drive.

A customer told officers that she discovered her wallet was missing when she left the location.  The wallet contained over $900 hundred dollars in cash as well as her identifying information.

An employee reviewed the store video and observed an adult female, with shoulder length hair, pick up the wallet from the counter and walk out of the store.

The suspect in this case has been located and this case is closed.

A person who wished to remain anonymous called the police to report that two females in a gray Cadillac SUV were going mailbox to mailbox in the Sacky Park neighborhood stealing mail from the mailboxes.   Officers swarmed the area but did not locate the suspect vehicle.

Senior Officer Michael Wertanen followed up on a possible license plate of the suspect vehicle and located the vehicle and the offenders at a residence in 4600 block of Cheryl Drive.  The offenders were in possession of mail belonging to more than 20 individuals from over 15 different addresses.

The offenders were identified as 51-year-old Lillian Martinez Patlan and 35-year-old Denise Nicole Livas.  They told police that they were mother and daughter.  They were arrested and booked for Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information  2nd Degree Felony, a second-degree felony.

The Corpus Christi Police Department is asking for help in locating a 16 year old Hispanic female named  Amy Gisselle Andrade-Guillen.    She is 5’2″ tall and weighs 140lbs.  She was last seen wearing a black shirt, black and white leggings, and sandals.  She is a runaway from a foster home in the 3700 block of Grassmere Drive.  She does not speak English.

She has her 8-month-old boy with her.  His name is  Iam Caleb Andrade-Guillen.   The child was last seen wearing a mickey mouse outfit.   Amy did not take any provisions for the child with her when she ran away at 11:00 A.M this morning.  She is believed to be on foot and does not have any known relatives or acquaintances in the Corpus Christi area.

There is an ongoing series of thefts from curbside mailboxes occurring on the Island and the south side of town.  We suspect that the offender is driving a white 2 door extended cab pick up truck, possibly a Ford F-150.  It appears that this truck does not have a front license plate and also displays a handicap placard.

Corpus Christi Senior Police Officer Christopher Meer stopped a vehicle for a moving traffic safety violation and ended up seizing close to 10 pounds of high-grade marijuana and over $21,000 in cash that is believed to be the profits of drug sales.

Officer Meer arrested John Andrew Alvarado, 01/16/1992, and Jeanette Marie Lopez, 05/06/1992, for Felony Drug Charges,  Money Laundering, and Child Endangerment.

Their two children, a two-year-old boy and a three-year-old girl that were in the vehicle at the time of the traffic stop were turned over to Texas Child Protective Services.

Corpus Christi Police Detectives need your help identifying suspects that are believed to be responsible for a number of recent credit card cloning and credit card abuse cases.  These suspects have been involved in over 60 recent offenses.

They may be in a grey Dodge van or a grey Ford van.  They have been seen in both vehicles.
