Location: 4300 Western Drive
Offense: Burglary
(PC 30.04 Class A Misdemeanor)
Case Number: 1411210020
A 32 year old male witness called Corpus Christi Police after he saw a male looking into and checking door handles on cars that were parked in the parking lot of an apartment complex located at 4301 Western Drive.
When officers arrived they found Jacob Pena (10/19/1992) walking in the complex but he had no property on him. While officers were investigating this call a 1997 black Nissan Pathfinder drove past them. The driver turned out to be the girlfriend of the male suspect that they had stopped, Angela Diaz (09/25/1993). Inside the Nissan Pathfinder officers found what appeared to be stolen property from several other vehicles. The female suspect turned out to be the driver and the male suspect was walking through the property checking door handles and burglarizing the ones that were unlocked.
Officers did make contact with one female victim who had her car burglarized and they returned her stolen items to her. Other property from the suspect’s vehicle was recovered by the police and they are currently looking for the owners of that property. Both suspects were arrested for burglary, a Class A misdemeanor.
