Woman Reports Man Exposed Himself At Everhart & Snowgoose This Morning

A 48 year old woman reported an indecent exposure this morning at a convenience store located at Everhart and Snowgoose.

The 48 year old woman told Officers a man was standing  by the ice freezer and propane tanks outside the store at about 7am and asked her for change. When the 48 year old woman turned towards the unknown man, she noticed that he was exposing his genitals and speaking lewdly. She told Officers that she then went directly into the store to report the event and the unknown man walked north on Everhart away from the scene.

The 48 year old woman described the unknown man as about 20 years of age, with light color skin, about 6 feet tall, thin and wore a fishing hat, gray shirt, and black shorts.

Officers intend to review store video and capture images of the man to make notice to the public. A Crime Stoppers tip helped Corpus Christi Police Detectives to identify 20-year-old Willie Church (2/22/1996) as the suspect in the Bank Robbery at the Kleberg Bank on August 25th. Detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for Church and would now like help from the public to locate him. Church is described as a 20-year-old man with dark skin, stands 6 feet tall, 150 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and had a last known address on the 2800 block of Tarlton.

Corpus Christi Police responded to a report of a bank robbery at the Kleberg Bank located at 4102 Baldwin Boulevard at 11:30am on August 25, 2016. The bank employees told Officers that an unknown man walked into the bank dressed in scrubs and with a red purse and possibly a wig and passed a note which demanded cash. The bank employees provided the man with cash and the man left into a nearby neighborhood. Image of the suspect were released to the public and a Crime Stoppers tip provided help to Detectives to identify the bank robbery suspect as Willie Church.

Auto Theft Task Force Wants Help From Public To Catch Burglars

The Corpus Christi Police Auto Theft Task Force would like help from the public to identify and locate two men who are accused of breaking into a trailer on August 14th and causing property damage at a business located at 2501 South Padre Island Drive.

A 35-year-old man reported the burglary on August 15th and told Officers there was video evidence that showed two men enter the business property after the business was closed for the day, and the two men broke into a trailer. The 35-year-old man told Officers the trailer was empty and the men took a generator that was left in the fenced area with the trailer. The 35-year-old man told Officers once the two men went back to their vehicle, one of the men picked up a rock and threw the rock into a window of the business. The 35-year-old man told Officers the rock broke the window and it appears the man only threw the rock to cause damage.

Garza has a tattoo on his left wrist that reads, “Sariah Ariel Garza” and has a tattoo on his right forearm of praying hands and reads, “Only God Can Judge Me.”

Corpus Christi Police would like help from the public to help identify a woman accused of stealing cosmetics on August 10th at the Kohl’s department store located on Saratoga Boulevard.

A 28-year-old man employed by Kohl’s for loss prevention, reported the theft to the Corpus Christi Police at 5:16pm and explained that the unknown woman selected multiple items near the jewelry aisle and the juniors department, she walked into the dressing room with the items and then walked out with nothing. The employee told Officers he saw the woman leave out the front doors near the women’s athletic section and immediately get into a white in color Infinity that displayed license plate number DVR4141, and leave the area. The employee told Officers he discovered several hundred dollars worth of cosmetics and clothes taken by the woman. Detectives obtained images of the woman and would now like you help to identify her.

The woman is described as an adult female with medium brown colored skin, 5 foot 4 inches with black hair approximately 140 pounds and she wore a black shirt with white stripes and blue jean shorts.

Cifuentes is a fugitive and has two warrants for her arrest for motions to revoke her probation for the original charges of Intoxication Assault, and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. The Intoxicated Assault happened on August 8, 2013 at Airline and Holly and Cifuentes was accused of operating a silver 2000 Honda Accord while intoxicated at about 1am and caused a vehicle crash which seriously injured a 22-year-old woman.

Cifuentes is described as a 25-year-old woman who stands 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 120 pounds, with straight brown hair, brown eyes and has a tattoo on her back of an elephant with three heads and the words, “The World is Yours” in latin. The last known address for Cifuentes was on the 7000 block of Smokewood in Corpus Christi and she was last known to be employed at Murdock’s as a bartender.

Corpus Christi Police Detectives would like help from the public to identify and locate a woman involved in assaulting a 12-year-old girl at a store located at 1301 Airline Road on August 2nd.

A 34-year-old woman reported the assault at 9:53pm on August 2nd and explained to Officers that her 12-year-old daughter ran to her in the store and complained that she was hit in the face by an unknown woman in the store. The 34-year-old woman told Officers  while she was down an aisle, her 12-year-old daughter came ran to her holding her lip and then said that an unknown woman yelled at her for no reason. The 34-year-old woman told Officers that her daughter explained that when she attempted to run away from the unknown woman, the 12-year-old was grabbed her by the left arm and punched her on the left portion of her lip causing it to bleed. The 34-year-old woman told Officers that when she exited the store, the unknown woman was waiting for them in a green Dodge passenger car. The 34-year-old woman told Officers the woman yelled at her, then drove away.

Detectives have obtained video of the woman accused of the assault and would like the public to help identify and locate the woman.

Crime Stoppers Tip Leads Investigators to Arrest For Flour Bluff Fatal Hit and Run

Corpus Christi Police arrested 27-year-old Nicholas Brenz (12/11/1988) Friday afternoon based on a tip to Crime Stoppers for a hit and run crash that happened Wednesday night on Flour Bluff Drive which killed a 35-year-old woman.

A 35-year-old female was with her friends on August 3rd when they stopped on Don Patricio to pick up items which were mistakenly left on the top of the car and had fallen to the road. A truck, that was traveling north, struck the 35-year-old woman and threw the 35-year-old woman into the south bound lanes where she was then run over by at least two more vehicles. The truck did not remain and fled the scene. The 35-year-old woman did not survive the crash.

This is the 15th traffic fatality for 2016 in Corpus Christi.

A tip from Corpus Christi Crime Stoppers led investigators to discover the truck at about 12:30pm Friday on the 400 block of Polaris Drive in Flour Bluff. Investigators learned that the owner of the truck was not a resident of the home on Polaris, but shortly after the truck was discovered, Nicholas Brenz walked to the Flour Bluff Police Sub-station and surrendered to Officers. Investigators interviewed Brenz and then obtained a warrant for the arrest of Brenz for Accident Involving Injury or Death with a bond amount of $150,000.

This is the 48th tip to Corpus Christi Crime Stoppers which has led to an arrest in 2016.

Investigators are thankful to the Corpus Christi Crime Stoppers community for the help to discover the primary vehicle responsible for this crash. Investigators continue to search for additional vehicles and drivers involved in the crash, but say there is no interest to pursue any more criminal accusations in this case. The Investigators say they want to close out the case and want anyone involved to feel comfortable with coming forward to provide information.

Corpus Christi Police worked several vehicle crashes near the Oso Bridge along the 8000 block of South Padre Island Drive this morning after drivers sighted a water spout. Officers responded to the complaints of vehicle crashes at 8:53 this morning and learned there were ten vehicles involved in collisions on the roadway. At least one person was transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Drivers told Officers a water spout was sited and some vehicles stopped in an effort to avoid the weather hazard. Several vehicles were towed due to damage. The bridge was not closed down because the weather hazard was gone by the time the emergency crews arrived.

Corpus Christi Police responded to a complaint of arson at an abandoned and unoccupied residential structure located on the 300 block of Coke Street Tuesday morning. Fire Fighters with the Corpus Christi Fire Department believe the fire was intentionally set and must be investigated as a crime. No injuries were reported and Investigators are seeking information to determine who owns the structure at 320 Coke Street.

Corpus Christi Police arrested 36-year-old Eusebio Guillen (8/30/1979) for Driving While Intoxicated with a previous conviction at Carroll Lane and South Padre Island Drive Tuesday morning. Corpus Christi Police responded to investigate a stalled green 2006 Land Rover sport utility vehicle in the intersection at 1:40am. Officers found Guillen asleep in the driver’s seat with the engine running. Officers woke Guillen and determined he was not in medical distress, but was intoxicated. Officers impounded the vehicle, took Guillen to the hospital to collect a specimen of his blood, and delivered Guillen to the city detention center. Officers learned that Guillen had previously convicted of Driving While Intoxicated and so the Tuesday accusation was enhanced to a Class A Misdemeanor.

Corpus Christi Police Officers responded to this call for a missing 10-year-old boy. The child had not been seen since 7:00PM. The mother thought the 10-year-old boy had gone to the swimming pool with a friend and then afterwards was with the grand mother. The grand mother thought the boy was with the mother. The child had no mental health issues, and is known as a good kid. Officers exhausted a search of the apartment and they went door to door to contact as many neighbors as possible. The father found the child at Zavala park at 1:04AM near a grandmother’s residence. The child said he was upset with his parents. The child was returned home.
