SEAT BELTS SAVE LIVES, HERE IS PROOF !
A 49 year old female was driving a 2015 Toyota Tundra truck north on Interstate Highway 37 just past Rand Morgan Rd. yesterday about 3:40 PM. The driver lost control of her vehicle and drove off the roadway, down the embankment, struck the center support pole of a highway sign, continued through a concrete culvert, jumped the access road, landed on a bridge guard rail, and then rolled down an embankment and into Turkey Creek. The truck came to rest on the driver side well off the roadway. The driver was taken to the hospital with injuries not believed to be life threatening thanks to her seatbelt.
