The Corpus Christi Police Department responded to 917 calls for service and generated 204 reports for formal criminal complaints from 7:00 a.m. January 12 to 7:00 a.m. on January 13, 2016. These are samples of the criminal complaints filed by the Corpus Christi Police for that time period.

Offense: Aggravated Robbery

Case Number: 1601120134
Employees of a business, located at 609 South Staples Street, called Corpus Christi Police after a man came into the store, armed with a gun.

One female employee told Officers that she saw a male walk in and point a gun at her and another female employee and then he demanded all the money in the cash register. Once he took the money, the male suspect then left the store and was last seen running behind the business towards Alameda Street.

The two employees were not injured.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket with a blue sweatshirt underneath and faded blue jeans. He had sunglasses and a red bandana on to cover his face. He was also had on tan and black gloves.

Camera surveillance video of the suspect were obtained from the stores security system.

A 27 year old male called Corpus Christi Police after he was assaulted and robbed while walking in the 900 block of West Point Road.

Officers were told by the victim that he was jumped by a black male suspect with blond dreadlocks. The victim said the suspect knocked him down, then punched and kicked him. While the victim was down the suspect reached into his pockets and stole his cash.

The suspect was last seen getting into a maroon Chevrolet Suburban that was driven by a heavy set Hispanic female.

At this time, no arrests have been made and Officers continue to investigate this crime.

Offense: Driving While Intoxicated
P.C.  49.04       Class B Misdemeanor

Case Number: 1601120140
Corpus Christi Police are investigating a wreck after a female crashed her car into two parked vehicles while traveling along the 6300 block of Meadowvista Drive.

The crash investigation by Officers determined that the driver of a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling west on Meadowvista Drive when the driver lost control and struck a parked 1997 Ford Mustang and a parked 2011 Toyota Tacoma truck.

The female driver, Lindsey Marie Jones (08/20/1979), was not injured, but after an investigation it was determined that she was intoxicated. She was arrested for driving while intoxicated and her car was impounded.
