DWI ENFORCEMENT

The Corpus Christ Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety will work jointly, to actively patrol all roadways in the City of Corpus Christi. Additional officers will be assigned to DWI enforcement in an effort to deter motorists from driving while intoxicated.

The Corpus Christi Police Department will also work with the Nueces County District Attorney’s Office to aggressively enforce DWI related offenses.

CCPD and DPS will begin their operations this Friday, February 11, 2022.

The Corpus Christi Police Department wants to remind our community that there are alternatives to driving under the influence. We encourage the use of a designated driver, taxicab, or a rideshare service to ensure that you arrive home safely.
