On April 3, 2025, at about 10:01 pm officers were dispatched to the area of 2500 block of McArdle Rd. in reference to shots fired. When officers arrived, they located a 45-year-old male victim with an apparent gunshot wound.

CCFD Medics arrived and transported the male to a local hospital in critical condition.

Additional units arrived in the area to assist. Several witnesses were contacted as well as security video located.

Officers were able to determine a red vehicle was involved. Officers located the vehicle unoccupied a few blocks away. The vehicle was impounded pending further investigation.

There were no arrests made at the time. This remains an active investigation.
