On September 16, 2026, at 12:14 pm, Officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department were dispatched to Dorothy Adkins Middle School. A suspicious individual called dispatch and was making threats toward the location. Due to the nature of the call, CCISD Police Department was made aware of the threats immediately.

No threat has been located at this time, and it is believed to be a hoax call. CCPD takes all threats towards our community’s schools seriously and investigates these incidents thoroughly.

This is an active and ongoing investigation.
