In September and October of 2026, the Del Mar neighborhood experienced an increase of home burglaries throughout the area. The information obtained by Patrol Officers, coupled with the investigative experience of the Corpus Christi Police Department Property Crimes Division, enabled us to stop the significant increase in home burglaries within the area.
Feeman Teeters (48) was arrested on 3 counts of Burglary of a Habitation. Through continued investigative efforts, Detectives were able to further link Teeters on two additional burglaries for which Detectives obtained additional warrants. In both cases, Teeters pawned items belonging to the victims the same day they reported the burglary. Teeter is still in the Nueces County Jail as of November 3.
Jose Collazo (38) was also arrested for Burglary of a Habitation. Last week an additional burglary was investigated where Collazo is seen in security footage entering the victim’s home. The Detective assigned to the case was able to secure an additional warrant for Collazo, who was taken into custody on October 31st. As of this morning, November 3, Jose is still in the Nueces County jail.
With the combined effort of the Patrol Division and the Criminal Investigation Division, the increase of home burglaries was halted.
