Warrant issued for shooting suspect at 4900 Olympia Drive.

A warrant has been issued for the suspect in the Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon at 4900 Olympia Drive. This happened on Sunday September 18, 2016 at 9:26am. The offender kicked in the front door of the residence and shot the 30 year old male victim with a handgun in the stomach.

Corpus Christi Police Officers are looking for Oscar Merado Chapa (12/6/1980). He is 6 feet tall weighing 185 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

The warrant is for Burglary with the Intent to Commit a felony and Aggravated  Assault W/Deadly Weapon. The bond has been set at $40,000.

Detectives Want Help From Public To Catch Purse Thief On Saratoga

Corpus Christi Police Detectives want your help to identify a man and a woman who stole a purse and used the credit cards on Saratoga Boulevard on Sunday, September 11.

A woman with orange hair stole a purse from a cart in the HEB on Saratoga last Sunday at about 8pm. The woman left the store, and less than an hour later, a man used the credit cards from the purse at the Wal-Mart on Saratoga. Police now want your help to identify this man and woman.

Police Want Help From Public to Catch Purse Thief

Corpus Christi Police property crimes Detectives would like help from the public to identify and locate a man accused of stealing purses from a boot store located in the Windchase Shopping Center.

A 51 year old man reported a theft to Corpus Christi Police at the Botas Chiuhuahua on Saturday, September 10. The 51 year old man told Officers an unknown man took purses from a display in the store, and left without paying. Detectives obtained images of the man believed to have stolen the purses and now want help from the public to identify and locate the man.

The 51 year old man described the suspect as about 5 feet 7 inches tall, about 25 years of age, 160 pounds, and wore a grey shirt, and brown pants.

Police need your help identifying these burglars

Corpus Christi Police Detectives need your help identifying these two burglars. CCPD officers contacted the victim advised that two subjects stole a propane tank. The victim told the officers that there was video of the suspects. On the video the suspects were observed driving a silver vehicle (possibly a Nissan) and parking it. A suspect wearing a red shirt and blue jeans was observed exiting the vehicle and walking out of the cameras view. The suspects went into a fenced in area and took a propane tank off the back of a forklift. A short time later a second suspect was observed carrying what appeared to be a propane tank and placing it in the vehicle. The second suspect was wearing a black shirt and blue shorts. Both suspects entered the vehicle and left the area.

Student Reports Indecent Exposure Near Calallen High School

A 16 year old girl reported an act of indecent exposure Friday afternoon near Calallen High School to the Corpus Christi Police. The 16 year old girl told Officers the event happened on Friday, but did not report the event until Tuesday afternoon.

The 16 year old girl told Officers she walked on the sidewalk on the back of the school at about 3:30pm and saw a man drive a Jeep Cherokee and followed some student athletes into the school through the school parking lot. The 16 year old girl told Officers she saw the man in the Jeep masturbating as he passed the 16 year old girl. The 16 year old girl told Officers the Jeep was last seen traveling east on Northwest Blvd (FM-624).

The 16 year old girl described the man in the Jeep as an adult male, about 30 years of age, with light brown skin, about 215 pounds with black hair that was a short fade, and a short, well kept beard. The 16 year old girl told Officers the man in the Jeea black t-shirt. She did not observe any tattoos, piercings or scars.

The 16 year old girl described the Jeep as a tan or beige Cherokee which did not have any noticeable aftermarket upgrades and she stated that she did not notice any if the vehicle had stickers of damage. The 16 year old girl told Officers there was a long piece of PVC pipe that she saw stretch from the front seat to the back.

Warrant Issued for Attempted Kidnapping

Corpus Christi Police Detectives have obtained a arrest warrant for the attempted kidnapping of a 9 year old girl on 2000 Hudson Street.

Police are looking for Arnulfo Rodriguez Santacruz (06-20-1991). He is 5 feet 11 inches tall weighing approximately 185 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Arnulfo was last seen driving a 2001 blue Dodge Stratus, license plate# BZB4208. The car has faded paint on the roof and is missing a Dodge decal on the drivers side door.

The warrant number is 16-FE-00312-JP1-1 and has a $100,000 bond.

Pharmacy Robbery Suspect in Custody

The Corpus Christi Police Department Gang Unit served an arrest warrant today at approximately 4pm this afternoon in the 1600 block of Hickory. The officers arrested Mark Garcia (06-19-1991) for an aggravated robbery warrant with a bond of $200,000.

Garcia is accused of pulling a gun on a employee of a pharmacy in the 5600 blk of Saratoga Blvd. and taking $2,700 dollars worth of drugs. He was transported to the City Detention Center.

Police Searching For Man Who Robbed Pharmacy on Saratoga This Morning

A 65-year-old man reported an aggravated robbery at a pharmacy on Saratoga Boulevard this morning to the Corpus Christi Police.

The 65-year-old man told Officers that he is an employee working at the pharmacy and an unknown man approached the pharmacy counter, displayed a handgun, and demanded specific prescription drugs. The 65-year-old man told Officers he gave the man about $2,700 dollars worth of drugs, and the man left.  No injuries were reported.

The 65-year-old man described the robbery suspect as an adult male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and wore a baseball cap, black shirt, red warmup pants and latex gloves. The 65-year-old man told Officers the suspect had a tattoo on his left cheek, his neck and arms were covered in tattoos.

Detectives obtained images of the man and now want help from the public to identify this robbery suspect.

Police Investigate Self Inflicted Shooting On Sycamore Place That Also Injured One Other Person

Corpus Christi Police are investigating a shooting which injured a 30 year old man and left a 33 year old man dead at a home on the 1600 block of Sycamore Place Sunday morning.

Corpus Christi Police responded to a shooting at about 9am Sunday morning and found a 30 year old man inside the home with obvious injuries that appeared to be from gunshot wounds. The 30 year old man was taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment. Officers also found a 33 year old man with injuries which appeared to be gunshot wounds and the 33 year old man was dead at the scene. Officers found an uninjured 33 year old woman who was a witness to the event and Officers took the 33 year old woman to Police Headquarters for a recorded statement.

Detectives believe the 33 year old man shot the 30 year old man and then the 33 year old man shot himself. Detectives believe there are no suspects in this case at large in the public. Detectives believe this event does not appear to be gang related and do not believe this event is related to any other crime in Corpus Christi.

Forensics Lab technicians and Detectives continue to gather evidence and information and would like anyone in the public who has any additional information about this case to call 886-2600 and speak to a Detective.

Last Suspect In Shooters Depot Murder Surrenders To Police

The final suspect in the Shooters Depot Murder Surrendered to Corpus Christi Police at Police Headquarters Saturday night.

Twenty two year old Darien Marshall (1/31/1994) went to Corpus Christi Police Headquarters at 9:08pm Saturday night and surrendered to Corpus Christi Police. Officers verified his identity, confirmed Marshall had an active warrant, and then delivered Marshall to the city detention center.

Corpus Christi Police Officers responded to a robbery call at the Shooters Depot gun shop at about 9pm on September 1, 2016.  Officers found a 63-year-old man and 38-year-old man were both seriously injured by what appeared to be gunshots.  The 63-year-old man died short time later after he was transported to the hospital.  The 38-year-old man was in serious condition at a local hospital.  Detectives believe that the incident started as a robbery of the business sometime between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.

A vehicle that belonged to one of the victims was found loaded with weapons a short time after the incident at the 900 block of Corn Products road.

Police identified four individuals as suspects in the murder and obtained warrants for the arrest of Truanser Hughes (04-19-97),  Filamir Gomez Jr (6/11/96), Jeremiah Jenkins (2/13/88), and Darien Marshall (1/31/94). Bonds were set at $1,000,000 for each suspect. All four individuals are now in custody.
