(PC 22.04       First Degree Felony)
Case Number: 1412140007
A 19 year old mother called Corpus Christi Police after she found her 3 year old daughter had been beaten by her boyfriend who had been watching the child earlier in the day.

Officers arrived and found the child covered from head to toe in bruises and abrasions. She also had dried blood on her nose and on her body. It appears that the child had been struck with hands and other objects due to the marks on her body.

Officers contacted CCFD EMS and had the child transported from there to Driscoll Children`s hospital for treatment. The injuries appear to be serious, but not life threatening.  The child has been released from the hospital and placed into the custody of family members.
