Narcotics Vice Division Investigators conducted a knock and talk at the Arbors on Saratoga apartment complex after receiving information of drug trafficking by one of the tenants.
The resident signed a consent to search which netted a seizure of 58.3 grams of MDMA, 636.4 gram of powder cocaine, 221.25 grams of marijuana, a quantity of ecstasy pills, along with a firearm and $5,626.00 cash.
The handgun was found to be stolen out of Brazoria County. Adrian Alaniz (02/25/90) was arrested and charged with two counts of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
Officers from the Corpus Christi Police Narcotics Vice Investigations Division executed a search warrant at 927 Lexington # 2 at 4:27pm Thursday afternoon.
Officers seized 6.3 grams of crack cocaine, 1.58 grams of marijuana, 70.24 grams of Promethazine, 1 – Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun, 1 – Springfield 9mm pistol, a gold necklace and $8,032 in cash.
Lafayette Anthony 02/18/81 was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 3 and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
On July 19, 2013, at approximately 4:05pm, the Corpus Christi Narcotics/Vice Investigation Division Officers with the assistance of the S.W.A.T. Team and Gang Unit served a search warrant at 3630 Dalraida. A search of the residence lead to the seizure of the following:

192.11 grams of powder Cocaine with a street value of $5,500
6.41 grams of Methamphetamine (ICE)with a street value of $650
2.04 grams of Heroin with a street value of $145

John Henry Jimenez (06/10/85) and Rick Manolo Benavides (08/24/82) were both arrested and booked at the City Detention Center. Both Jimenez and Benavides were charged with two counts of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, and one count of Possession of Marijuana. Jimenez was additionally charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.

A search of the residence led to the seizure of a stolen firearm, 2.33 grams of crack cocaine and a cash seizure of $1419.
Charles Flores (01/06/83) was arrested and charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Theft of a Firearm. He was booked at the City Detention Center.

Officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department’s Narcotic Vice Investigations Division along with the assistance of Patrol Officers served a search warrant at 3002 Antelope Street. A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of 8 pounds of Marijuana, 2.48 grams of Methamphetamine, one hit of acid, and $2806 in cash.
Jose Juan Moreno (05/09/91) and Eleazar Leo Martinez (12/07/92) were both arrested and booked at the City Detention Center. Moreno was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana, both 3rd degree felonies. Martinez was charged with a State Jail Felony count of Possession of a Controlled Substance and a misdemeanor count of Possession of Marijuana when he was found to have a hit of acid and marijuana on his person.
On 7-5-13 at about 0658 hours NVID officers, with the assistance of the SWAT team, executed a search and arrest warrant at 1530 Winnebago. SWAT made entry and secured the scene.
A search of the residence netted a seizure of 27 grams of powder cocaine, 4 grams of crack cocaine and $ 832 cash.
Three subjects were arrested. Thomas Clark (11-2-81), Tomasina Flores (12-4-79) and Jose DeLaGarza (11-18-80) were charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance more than 4 grams and subsequently booked into the City Detention Center.

A 23-year-old man was arrested Sunday night at the 9600 block of South Padre Island Drive for driving a vehicle with a load of chemicals for the purpose to make illegal drugs.
A Corpus Christi Police Officer conducted a traffic stop on the 9600 block of South Padre Island Drive at 11:17pm. The 23-year-old driver, Dale Johnson (6/4/1990) was stopped in a white 1998 Toyota Tacoma for failing to signal a turn.
The Officer conducted an investigation and discovered Johnson had a group of chemicals in the truck. The Officer recognized the chemicals as those collected to make methamphetamines and Johnson was arrested.
The Corpus Christi Police Bomb Squad collected the chemicals for proper and safe disposal. The truck was impounded and Johnson was delivered to the city detention center. Johnson is charged with possession or transport of chemicals with intent to manufacture a controlled substance; a second degree felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.
Corpus Christi Police Gang Officers with the assistance of the Corpus Christi Police Narcotics Vice Investigations Division Officers executed a search warrant at 1713 Keys St. on June 14, 2013 at about 9:50am. During a search of the residence officers located 5 grams of crack cocaine and 3.4 grams of powder cocaine. Less than 1 gram of marijuana was also located in the residence. A scale and other drug paraphernalia was also located. Juan Lucio 10/30/74 was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, a Second Degree Felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.
On 06/07/13 CCPD Narcotics Vice Investigators conducted a prostitution sting in the North area of town. Personnel from the Coastal Bend Wellness Foundation rode along for observation. The following offenders were arrested for prostitution:
All offenders were charged with class B prostitution. Possible enhancements for repeat offenders will be investigated. ** Also had a Nueces county warrant for Obstructing Police.
Corpus Christi Police Officers assigned to the Narcotics/Vice Investigations worked surveillance on Richard David Andrade who was known to sell drugs and typically transport them in his vehicle. Andrade was known to have some Municipal Court warrants, so when Andrade became mobile in his vehicle at 11:30pm on May 21, 2013, officers had two CCPD patrol units stop and arrest him on the outstanding warrants. Upon impoundment of the vehicle an inventory was conducted and the patrol officers located a quantity of drugs concealed in the hollowed out air bag compartment. In addition to the Municipal Court warrants suspect Richard David Andrade 12/11/1984 was booked for Possession of a Controlled Substance and second degree felony and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon third degree felony.

Corpus Christi Police Narcotics/Vice Investigators along with DPS Narcotics and the U.S. Marshal Service Violent Offender Task Force served an arrest warrant on known prison gang member Jose L. Hernandez 08/30/83 at 2341 Handlin on May 22, 2013. Hernandez was found to be in possession of an ounce of crack cocaine. The officers obtained a search warrant for his residence at which time 9 ounces of crack cocaine, $1,403 in U.S. currency and 2 pistols were seized. During the course of the first investigation Monica Ayala 10/05/78 arrived on Handlin to deliver 1.5 kilograms of powder cocaine. Hernandez was booked on the arrest warrant and charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance 1st degree felony. Ayala was also charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance 1st degree felony.

Corpus Christi Police Officers assigned to the Narcotics/Vice Investigations in conjunction with CCPD SWAT and the CCPD Gang Unit served a search warrant at 3521 N. Naylor at 9:45pm on May 23, 2013. Justin Perez 12/26/88 fled out the back door however an extensive house to house search by SWAT personnel resulted in the suspect being located hiding under a house 4 houses down from the original location. The search resulted in the seizure 2 pistols, crack cocaine, and U.S. currency. Perez was charged with Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance 1st degree felony.

Seized at the apartment was a significant quantity of crack cocaine, some powder cocaine and $11,727 in U.S. currency. The occupant of the apartment Daniel Reese 04/30/86 was charged for Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance 1st degree felony.
