Corpus Christi Police arrested 23-year-old Dain Hart (6/13/1990) for possession of a controlled substance and other charges at his home on the 7000 block of Sandra Lane Monday afternoon. Corpus Christi Police responded to a disturbance at the home at 5:22pm and discovered Hart had contraband. Officers discovered Hart had substances which the Officers believe to be marijuana, heroin, and prescription medication not prescribed to Hart. The Officers arrested Hart and delivered him to the city detention center.

A 31-year-old woman reported an attempted robbery at a store located at 6601 Everhart Road to Corpus Christi Police Monday night. The 31-year-old woman told Officers a man went into the store and demanded money from the register. The 31-year-old woman told Officers she told the man that there was no money in the register, and the man left walking toward Middlecoff. The 31-year-old woman described the suspect to Officers as a man with dark skin, about 30 years of age, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, about 160 pounds, and wore a red “Roca Wear” hoodie, blue jeans, and had a light beard.

Corpus Christi Police arrested 30-year-old Ritchie Farr (6/10/1983) for forgery at a bank located at 221 South Shoreline Boulevard Monday afternoon. Corpus Christi Police responded to a complaint from a 19-year-old woman who told Officers Farr attempted to cash a check which was reported stolen. Officers arrived and learned that Farr attempted to cash a check that was reported stolen from a burglary the previous day at 505 South Water Street. Officers arrested Farr for forgery and then delivered him to the city detention center.

The Officer told Moeller to extinguish the fire and then discovered Moeller had warrants for his arrest for nonpayment of child support. The Officer arrested Moeller and delivered him to the city detention center.

Corpus Christi Police arrested 41-year-old Luis Villarreal (11/3/1972) for Intoxicated Assault at Interstate highway 37 at Clarkwood Road Saturday morning. Corpus Christi Police responded to a vehicle crash which involved a pedestrian at 12:28am Saturday. Officers learned a 47-year-old man was changing a tire and was struck by a gold 2005 Nissan Altima. The Altima continued to travel on the Interstate, but was followed by a witness until Corpus Christi Police responded. Corpus Christi Police arrested the operator of the Altima, 41-year-old Villarreal, and took him to the hospital for a medical evaluation and then delivered him to the city detention center. The 47-year-old man was taken to the hospital by ambulance with non life-threatening injuries.

Corpus Christi Police discovered a 30-year-old man accidentally shot himself in the leg while he sat in his vehicle. The 30-year-old man was taken to the hospital for treatment of his non life-threatening injury. Officers learned the 30-year-old man is a convicted felon and prohibited from possession of a firearm, so the Officers generated a criminal complaint for unlawful possession of a firearm. The 30-year-old man remained in the hospital for treatment.

Corpus Christi Police arrested 17-year-old Nathan Morales (7/31/1996) for burglary of a vehicle Saturday morning at an apartment complex located at 4645 Ocean Drive. A Corpus Christi Police Officer noticed Morales near the apartment complex at 4:15am. The Officer chose to stop the vehicle and walk through the parking lot of the apartment complex. The Officer then saw Morales and an 18-year-old man pull on the door handles to unoccupied vehicles in the parking lot. Officers stopped the two men and discovered stolen property with Morales. The 18-year-old man was released while investigation continues. Officers had enough evidence to arrest Morales for Burglary of a Vehicle and then they delivered Morales to the city detention center.

A 30-year-old man reported his work truck stolen from a hotel parking lot at 5142 Oakhurst Drive Friday night to the Corpus Christi Police. The 30-year-old man told Officers he went outside and saw two unknown men in his white 2000 Ford F-450 work truck and the truck left the parking lot without permission. A Corpus Christi Police Officer saw the truck on North Padre Island Drive near Bear Lane and conducted a traffic stop. The driver of the truck exited the vehicle and ran. The Officer arrested the passenger, 29-year-old Felix Garza (5/9/1984) for unauthorized use of a vehicle. An other Corpus Christi Police Officer chased and arrested the driver, 33-year-old Armando Cruz (3/11/1980) for unauthorized use of a vehicle. Officers then delivered Garza and Cruz to the city detention center and the vehicle was returned to the 30-year-old man.

Corpus Christi Police arrested 33-year-old Joel Pineda (8/26/1980) for aggravated assault and criminal mischief at the 2900 block of Mansheim Boulevard Sunday. Corpus Christi Police responded to a vehicle crash in which a blue 2007 Yamaha motorcycle operated by a 27-year-old man was struck by a white 2007 Ford Focus at about noon on Sunday. Witnesses told Officers that Pineda got out of the Focus and assaulted the 27-year-old man. Officers learned the 27-year-old man and Pineda know one another. Witnesses told Officers Pineda intentionally struck the motorcycle with the Focus and then Officers arrested Pineda for aggravated assault. The 27-year-old man was taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment of non life-threatening injuries. Officers impounded the Focus and delivered Pineda to the city detention center.

The 40-year-old man told Officers he does not know the man who hit him or caused the damage to his vehicle.

Corpus Christi Police arrested 49-year-old Robert Skinner (9/18/1964) for driving while intoxicated at the 4900 block of Kitchens Street Tuesday. Corpus Christi Police responded to a vehicle crash at the intersection of Kostoryz Road and Norton Street 7:58pm after a black 2011 Chevrolet Silverado struck a blue 2004 Chevrolet Aveo. The 27-year-old woman driver of the Aveo and her 16-year-old girl passenger were not injured in the crash. The Silverado drove away from the crash scene before law enforcement arrived. A Corpus Christi Police Officers saw the damaged Silverado on the 2900 block of Kitchens Street and arrested the driver, Skinner, for driving while intoxicated. The 26-year-old man described the suspect to Officers as a light skin male about 25 years of age, about 6 feet tall, about 250 pounds and wore a blue jacket with a collar, white polo shirt, a navy blue ball cap, jeans, and a goatee.

A Corpus Christi Police Officer recovered a stolen vehicle on the 3000 block of South Port Avenue Monday. A Corpus Christi Police Officer saw a green 2000 Mazda car driven on the 3000 block of South Port Avenue which the Officer recognized as a vehicle that had been reported stolen from Corpus Christi on Saturday. The Officer arrested a 23-year-old man and took a 16-year-old boy into custody who were inside the vehicle. The Officer delivered 23-year-old Michael Garza (9/27/1990) to the city detention center and then delivered the 16-year-old boy to the Nueces County Juvenile Detention Center. The vehicle was taken to the city impound.

A gold 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis driven by a 28year old man struck a house on the 400 block of Old Robstown Road Sunday night. Crash Investigators believe the 28-year-old man had a medical emergency condition while driving and struck a wooden fence, then a guide wire to an electrical pole, a chain link fence, and then struck the back part of a house. The 28-year-old man was taken to the hospital by ambulance for non life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.

Corpus Christi Police arrested 31-year-old Kristin Deyo (8/1/1982) for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while her license was suspended at Caribbean and Laguna Shores Road Monday morning. A Corpus Christi Police Officer saw Deyo drive a white Ford Explorer on Caribbean Drive and knew Deyo from previous experience and knew she did not have a valid driver license. The Officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested Deyo for driving while license suspended. The Officer found contraband he believes is methamphetamine and additionally charged Deyo with possession of a controlled substance and for possession of drug paraphernalia. The Officer impounded the vehicle and delivered Deyo to the city detention center.

Corpus Christi Police responded to a complaint of a man sleeping on the side of the building at about 9pm. Officers woke Hendred and discovered Hendred laid on a bag of marijuana. The Officers arrested Hendred for possession of marijuana and public intoxication. The Officers then delivered Hendred to the city detention center.

Corpus Christi Police arrested 32-year-old Juan Moya (6/24/1981) for Intoxicated Assault and Reckless Driving after a vehicle crash at Carroll Lane and Tiger Lane Saturday. Corpus Christi Police responded to a vehicle crash at 2:56pm Saturday and learned a black 2013 Chrysler 300 driven by Moya struck a tan 2000 Chevrolet Silverado in the intersection which caused Moya and three other people to be taken to the hospital by ambulance. A 28-year-old woman passenger in the Chrysler had serious injuries according to the Officers report. A 22-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman in the Silverado were taken for treatment of non life-threatening injuries. Moya was treated for injuries at the hospital and released the night of January 5^th. Corpus Christi Police Officers arrested Moya for Intoxicated Assault and Reckless Driving and then delivered Moya to the city detention center.

Corpus Christi Police arrested 41-year-old Adam Duncan (4/26/1972) for Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Warrant for his arrest, Evading Arrest, Resisting Arrest, and Tampering With Evidence at 1802 Ennis Joslin Friday morning. A Corpus Christi Police Officer investigated Duncan as a suspicious person at an apartment complex located at 1802 Ennis Joslin at about midnight. Duncan fled from the Officer on a bike west across the road and into a field. The Officer chased and captured Duncan. The Officer learned that Duncan had an active warrant for his arrest for Interference with an Emergency Call. The Officer arrested Duncan for the warrant, for evading arrest and for resisting arrest and transported Duncan to the city detention center. The Officer noticed Duncan move around excessively in the back seat while the Officer completed reports. The Officer discovered Duncan attempted to conceal or destroy contraband, so the Officer additionally charged Duncan with the possession f a controlled substance (believed to be methamphetamine) and for tampering with evidence. The Officer then delivered Duncan to the city detention center.

Corpus Christi Police took two juveniles into custody when a woman found them asleep in her home located on the 4500 block of Silver Hollow Drive without permission Thursday. A 34-year-old woman complained about the criminal trespass to the Corpus Christi Police at 10:15am. The 34-year-old woman explained that her two step daughters, ages 16 and 14, allowed a 16-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy to stay the night without permission and she had previously prohibited the 16-year-old girl and the 10-year-old boy to be in her house. Officers verified the documentation from a couple weeks previous that the 34-year-old woman filed a complaint with the Corpus Christi Police that the two were prohibited on the premises, so the Officers placed the 16-year-old girl and the 10-year-old boy in custody and delivered them to the Nueces County Juvenile Detention Center for Criminal Trespass.

Corpus Christi Police took a 16-year-old girl and a 14-year-old girl into custody for criminal mischief to a home on the 4500 block of Silver Hollow Drive Thursday. A 34-year-old woman met Corpus Christi Police Officers on the front lawn and told the Officers her two step daughters, ages 16 and 14, became angry because police were summoned to the house earlier in the morning. The 34-year-old woman told Officers the two step daughters broke several windows in the house, destroyed a kitchen table, poured paint on the exterior of the house, and cut the tires on her vehicle. The two step daughters then locked the door while the 34-year-old woman spoke to the Officers and continued to do damage to the home while Officers were locked outside. Officers were able to gain entry and apprehend the two juvenile girls. The 34-year-old woman estimated the damage to the home at over $5,000 dollars. The Officers delivered the two juvenile girls to the Nueces County Juvenile Detention Center for Criminal Mischief.

Corpus Christi Police responded to a vehicle crash at 3:36am and learned a red 2011 Nissan Versa driven by Yancey ran a red light at struck a blue 2003 Ford Explorer. The 29-year-old male driver of the Explorer was not injured in the crash. The 25-year-old male passenger and the 19-year-old female passenger in the Versa were both injured and transported to the hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries. Police impounded the Versa and the Explorer was towed away due to damage. Yancey was taken to the hospital for a medical evaluation and to collect a specimen of his blood. Police then delivered Yancey to the city detention center for intoxicated assault.
