Credit Card Abuse Suspects Wanted

Police have arrested Sandra Lee Vasquez, 09/03/1975, at an address on Padre Island, and we have arrest warrants for Nicholas Ryan Stevick, 01/05/1991, and Philip Michael Sanders, 07/19/1988.  The arrest warrants are for PC32.31 Credit Card Abuse, a State Jail Felony.

We suspect that these three people are responsible for numerous auto burglaries on Padre Island and other parts of town.  They have used credit cards that were stolen in burglaries.   Please call police at 886-2600 if you know the whereabouts of Stevick or Sanders.   Vasquez has already been arrested.

Wrong way to start a lawn business

Corpus Christi Detectives need your help identifying this suspected thief. The male suspect forced his way into a locked fenced in area. Once inside he went to a trailer with lawn mowing equipment on it removing a couple of weed eaters and a blower from the trailer. The suspect then left the scene.

Corpus Christi Police Offices were dispatched to the 1900 block of Comanche in reference to an assault with injuries. The call advised that a female hit a male in the head with a pipe. Officers arrived and contacted the 69 year old male victim in his wheelchair. The victim had a large laceration to his head, a laceration to his pinky and was covered in blood. The victim advised that he was trying to get the 34 year old female off of his porch because she was high on spray paint. The suspect refused to leave, got a golf club and began striking the victim. The victim advised he did not know how many times he was struck. A witness advised that he saw the suspect huffing paint outside. The victim was inside when he heard screaming on the porch and saw the suspect holding the golf club and the victim covered in blood. He stated that the suspect began kissing the victim saying she was sorry and then fled the scene. The victim was transported to Spohn Shoreline with non-life threatening  injuries. Officers checked the area and were not able to located the suspect.

While officers were at the hospital they received a call that the suspect returned to Comanche. Officers went back to the location and arrested Jessica Reyna (12-23-1982) for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She was transported to the City Detention Center without incident.

Offense: Deadly Conduct, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon

Corpus Christi Police Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Devon in reference to a disturbance with a gun. The call advised that a white male in a blue shirt was shooting at the victims house and he left in a teal green Chevy S 10 pickup. Officers arrived and made contact with the 40 year old female and 58 year old male victims. The were both visibly shaken. The female victim advised she was standing in her yard when a male got out of a maroon pickup wearing a blue shirt. She stated that the suspect appeared intoxicated. She advised that the suspect accused her of stealing and asked for her son. She stated that the suspect made threats towards her and left the area. The victim advised about ten minutes later she was on the porch with the male victim when they observed a greenish vehicle slowly drive by and park around the corner. The victim advised the same suspect got out of the vehicle and he was carrying a shotgun. She yelled he’s got a gun and both victims ran inside fearing for their lives. They could hear the suspect shout “stay right there, y’all don’t move.” The victim advised she heard one shot and observed a muzzle flash. The victim called police and hid for fear of the suspect shooting at them. The victim told officers that she recognized the vehicles from the area of Maryland street.

Officers went to the area of 1400 Maryland St. and observed the suspect vehicle in the front yard. Officers contacted and detained two subjects. Officers investigated and determined the intoxicated 28 year old male was involved. The witness was brought to the scene and identified the suspect. Officers arrested Shane Reese Tilley (06-05-1989). The officers located the shotgun at the suspects residence and found 1 spent 12 gauge shotgun shell at the victims house. The suspect was transported to the City Detention Center. Neither of the victims were injured.

Offense: Driving While License Suspended, Duty to notify on Striking a fixture

Corpus Christi Police Offices were dispatched to the area of 1500 Ocean Drive in reference to a single vehicle traffic accident/crash. The call was updated and advised that a female wearing glasses, a blue tank top, tan shorts and a purse fled the scene on foot. Officers arrived and observed a silver Kia Amanti partially in the roadway. It appeared that the vehicle left the roadway striking an AEP light pole and some bushes. Other officers checked the area and located a female matching the description in the area of Alameda St. and Texas Ave. Officers noticed a red mark on her right forearm and during the investigation determined that she was the driver of the vehicle. The suspect was found to have a suspended license. She also left the scene of the accident and made no effort to notify AEP that she struck the light pole. Officers arrested Anne Marie Ramirez (01-11-1985) and transported her to the City Detention Center.

Corpus Christi Police Detectives need your help identifying this suspected thief. An employee of Amans Jewelers was setting out jewelry on a center table. A unknown male suspect jumped on the counter reaching and grabbing 2 ring displays valued at over $30,000. The suspect then flees the scene. The suspect was clean shaven wearing a dark shirt and shorts. He also had tattoos on both of his forearms.

Abduction update

We can confirm that the 11-year-old female has been found safe and unharmed. Through the investigation it has been determined that the vehicle of interest initially put out was not involved in the commission of a crime. SEXUAL ASSAULT SUSPECT ARRESTED

Offense: Warrant, Evading Arrest

On June 22, 2017 at approximately 12:00 p.m., the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force received a request for assistance from the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in locating a wanted fugitive.  At approximately 12:20 p.m. the task force received information that the fugitive in question, Emmanuel Grear 05/04/1997, was at an apartment complex in the 5700 block of Curtis Clark with a friend, Jeremy DelosSantos 07/04/1995.

The members of the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force arrived at the location and observed both subjects walking through the complex.  When they attempted to make contact, both Grear and DelosSantos evaded on foot.  Both Grear and DelosSantos were taken into custody.

Emmanuel Grear was arrested for five outstanding warrants; Aggravated Kidnapping ($100,000 Bond), Aggravated Sexual Assault ($250,000 Bond), Aggravated Robbery ($75,000 Bond) and two Probation Violations for Robbery (No Bond).  Jeremy DelosSantos was arrested for Evading Arrest.

Both Offenders were booked into the City Detention Center for processing and have been transferred to the Nueces County Jail.

“Home Invasion” Robbery Suspect Is Arrested, Prime Suspect In 5 Robberies

Moises Espino, 09/08/1995, was arrested on 06/20/2017 at about 10:00 A.M. for the robbery of a Taqueria restaurant in the 4400 block of Greenwood Drive and also for a robbery that occurred about fifteen minutes before that at another restaurant in the 4900 block of Ayers St.

We also believe that he is responsible for two “Home Invasion” type residential robberies, one in the 4600 block of Larkspur Lane on 06/18 and one in the 3300 block of Greenwood Drive on 06/14.  He is also the prime suspect for the robbery of the Times Market, 3300 Ayers St. on 06/19.

This repeat offender has been booked on two of the robbery charges and we anticipate filing at least three more on him once those investigations are complete.

Police Ask For Help In Locating Robbery Suspect

On May 30, 2017 at about 10:55 A.M., A Del Mar College student reported that she was robbed of her purse at gunpoint in a parking lot on the school campus.

Corpus Christi Police, working with Del Mar College Security have identified the person that we believe committed this crime.   We are seeking the public’s help in locating  29 year old Joseph Graham.  His last know address is in Corpus Christi but he might have fled the area.    He is described as a white male with brown hair and he might have facial hair.  He was last described as 5’08” and about 220 lbs. with brown eyes.
