Occurred on 9/19/11, 10:28 p.m. Wanted Subject 1400 N.P.I.D. 11-09190175
An Officer pulled over a sports utility vehicle for speeding in the 1400 block of N. Padre Island Drive. Pedro Bustamonte Flores (06/05/82) was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Flores was arrested and booked at the CDC. He was charged with the outstanding Nueces County Warrant for Failure to Appear for Child Support. He was given a verbal warning for the speeding.
Occurred on 9/19/11, 7:28 p.m. Deadly Conduct 702 S. Clarkwood Road 1109190154
Officers responded to the Sea Mist Mobile Home Park for a disturbance with gun. Upon their arrival, Officers contacted the 20-year-old victim who reported her 25-year-old neighbor threatened her with a gun. The victim told Officers her neighbor was upset her boxer had escaped and gone into his yard where his children play. The victim told Officers she walked the dog to the neighbor’s house and told the dog not to go over there again. The victim told Officer’s the neighbor then pointed a gun at her and threatened to shoot her dog if it went into his yard again. The neighbor denied having a gun or pointing it at the victim, but did warn her, he would shoot the dog if it charged at his kids again. The neighbor allowed Officers to check the residence for a firearm, but one was not located. The investigation is ongoing.
Officers contacted the Family Dollar Store cashier who reported a Black male entered the store and loitered in the store keeping a close eye on her. The male left, but returned shortly thereafter, waiting for an opportunity to rob the victim. When the cashier opened the cash register, the suspect elbowed her out-of-the-way and took an undetermined amount of money. The store manager pursued after the suspect, but lost sight of him as he fled northbound towards the H.E.B. The suspect is described as a hazel-eyed Black male, 5’8” to 5’10” feet tall and weighing 180 to 200 lbs. He was last seen wearing a “golf” hat, light blue shirt, and blue jean shorts. Occurred on 9/13/11, 10:00 p.m. Burglary of a Coin Operated Machine 1805 Rodd Field 1109160064
Officers contacted the owner of Cascade Car Wash who reported his coin boxes were burglarized on 09/13/11, but he didn’t report the crime. The three coin boxes had already been repaired. The owner told Officers they observed the surveillance video footage of another car wash burglary on a news broadcast. The Media’s use of the surveillance video prompted them to file a police report. The victim did have surveillance video of his burglary and will provide a copy. In the video, a female with long dark hair who was dressed in dark tank top was observed being the lookout while other suspects were breaking into the coin boxes. Occurred 9/18/11, 7:30 p.m. ~ 9:00 p.m. Burglary of a Building 1755 Frio 1109180140
Officers responded to Mary Mother of the Church for a burglary. Officers contacted church staff members who reported they arrived to find the church lights on and the Sacristy Room along the Sanctuary burglarized. Further investigation revealed there was not a forced entry, but the possibility the suspect or suspects hid inside the church and exited through a side door. Approximately 100 hand-made rosaries and several gold amulets were stolen along with an undetermined amount of money. The money was taken from two offering deposit box. Reported on 9/18/11, 07:00 a.m. Burglary of Coin Operated Machine 1310 Airline 1109180050
Officers contacted employees of JR Viola’s Cleaners Laundromat who reported several coin operated machines had been burglarized. Further investigation revealed the suspects left behind several tools while taking several cash trays. The total amount contained in the trays is undetermined at this time. There is no suspect description available at this time. Occurred 9/18/11, 05:54 a.m. Graffiti Arrests Cole Park Skate Park 1109180048
Officers responded to the Cole Park Skate Park for vandals spray painting graffiti in the bowl of the skate park. Upon their arrival, Officers two males had fled towards Oleander Park. John Sanchez (09/03/93) and Nicholas Rodriquez (02/21/92) were captured, but a third suspect was able to escape. A witness reported to Officers he observed the suspects exit from a blue Mustang, walk towards the skate park armed with a black backpack. One of the suspects was observed to be carrying a spray can. The backpack was found by Officers and found to be filled with spray cans. Both Sanchez and Rodriguez denied knowing the owner of the Mustang, but Officers contacted the registered owner who told them her son had left in the Mustang accompanied by both Sanchez and Rodriguez. Sanchez and Rodriguez were both arrested and booked at the CDC. They were both charged with Graffiti ~ Pecuniary Loss less than $20,000 which is a State Jail Felony. The blue Mustang was released to the owner.
Occurred 9/19/11, 03:13 a.m. Burglary of a Building 5414 Tripoli 1109190024
Officers responded to Yeager Elementary for an alarm. Upon their arrival, Officers heard a loud noise towards the back area of the school. Officers apprehend and detained Devin Joel Bazan (03/29/93) and his 14-year-old Hispanic female accomplice. Further investigation revealed the two had entered the school through an unlocked door and taken a rolling computer chair and a hand-held grabber. Both items were thrown down from the second floor to the first floor making the loud noise Officers heard as they arrived. Both suspects smelled of an alcoholic beverage and appeared to be intoxicated. Bazan was arrested and booked at the CDC. He was charged with Burglary of a Building, Consume of Alcoholic by a Minor, Criminal Trespass, and Inducing Curfew. The 14-year-old female was released to her mother, but charges are pending for Burglary of a Building, Consume of Alcohol by a Minor, Criminal Trespass, and Violating Curfew. The stolen property was found outside the fenced area and returned to maintenance staff.
Occurred 9/19, 12:30 a.m. Aggravated Assault 901 Kinney 1109190007
Officers contacted the 44-year-old Hispanic male who reported he was stabbed by his girlfriend Amy Wilson (11/25/81) after an argument over their children and her choice of friends. Wilson grabbed a kitchen knife and held it to the victim’s throat. The victim was able to take the knife away and Wilson fled the residence. Officers located Wilson nearby and placed her under arrest. She was transported and booked at the CDC. Wilson was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. The victim sustained a minor cut and checked by CCFD Emergency Personnel. The kitchen knife was recovered and tagged as evidence.

The Auto Theft Task Force needs assistance in identifying the Hispanic male and Hispanic female wanted in connection with an auto burglary that occurred on 9-11-11 at a local nightclub parking lot, 5800 S. Staples St. The offenders are shown here using a Lone Star card stolen in the auto burglary.
The hispanic male is medium build dark complected wearing a dark t-shirt, black shorts and white tennis shoes.
The female is wearing a green t-shirt, jeans and white tennis shoes.
