Date: 2/6/2015            6:00 AM
Location: 500 North Water Street
Offense: Burglary
P.C. 30.02        State Jail Felony
Case Number: 1502060022
Corpus Christi Police Detectives have released camera surveillance images of a suspect they believe is involved in a burglary to a business that occurred on February 6.

Corpus Christi Police responded to an alarm at the Prosperity Bank and found that the front doors could not be totally secured.

A bank employee arrived and decided to view camera surveillance to see if anyone had gained entry into the bank. While viewing camera footage a white male about 5`8” tall wearing dark pants, boots and a hooded sweat shirt with a laptop style pack around his neck is seen entering the bank through the front doors by pulling on them.

The suspect walks over to a teller window and jumps the counter. Once behind the counter he is able to gain entry into a safe under the counter that was left unsecured. The suspect then walks out of camera view and reappears again with a box over his right shoulder, and he exits through the door.   It is thought that the suspect exited the bank with coins in the box.

It is estimated that the suspect took approximately $600 worth of money in coins.

The suspect in this case was not located and Detectives need your help in identifying this individual.  Anyone with information about this case should call the Corpus Christi Police Property Crimes Detectives at 886-2840.
