A 42 year old male victim called Corpus Christi Police after the tires and front windshield of his truck were damaged by another man that he knew.
The victim said he was giving a ride to a friend’s 20 year old girlfriend when for no reason she jumped out of his truck screaming and ran to her boyfriend’s house down the street.
The male backed up his truck and went to check on the female and he heard her calling for her boyfriend to come outside. The female’s boyfriend, Benjamin Lebleu (05/04/1990) came outside armed with a knife and threatened the male.
He slashed all four of the tires on his 1996 Ford Ranger truck and then grabbed an object and threw it at his truck shattering the windshield.
Officers located the suspect and arrested him. He was charged with aggravated assault, a second degree felony, for making threats to the victim while armed with a knife, and for criminal mischief, a Class A misdemeanor, for the estimated $600 in damage he did to the truck.
