UPDATE: Corpus Christi Robbery/Homicide Detectives were able to identify the offender in the Weber Rd/ Tripoli St. shooting that occurred on April 15, 2026.

On April 21, 2026, at 11:00 pm the Corpus Christi Gang Unit along with the Unites states Marshal Service (USMS) were able to locate and apprehend wanted subject Jusiah Ortiz near the intersection of Columbia St. and Bloomington St.

Ortiz was transported to the main police station for questioning. He was later transported to the City Detention Center where he was booked for the murder warrant.

This is still an ongoing investigation.
