Case Number: 1502080040
A 36 year old male victim called Corpus Christi Police after he said he was assaulted and robbed while walking down the 4000 block of Leopard Street.
The victim said that a man named “Emilio” had assaulted him with a bottle and tried to get money from his wallet. Officers found a crime scene inside a nearby motel room where the victim said he was staying causing them to doubt the story about being attacked on the street. CCFD EMS transported the victim to Spohn Memorial Hospital for injuries to his left ear, a cut on his face, and a swollen left eye.
Upon further investigation it was determined that two females and another male jumped the victim while they were all inside The victims hotel room after he produced a large amount of money and showed them. All three suspects took the victims money and left after cutting him with a box cutter on the face.
Officers continue to investigate this case and at this time no suspects have been arrested.
