A 34 year old female store employee called Corpus Christi Police after she saw a female sticking stuff in her purse. When the store employee confronted the female she threw out some of the property and started making threats. When the store employee saw more property in her purse, the female started pushing her and threatened to stab her as she was going out of the store with a male. Both the male and the female suspects started threatening the store employee as they exited the store with stolen property. Officers arrived and contacted the female suspect and found she was only 15 years old. She was arrested and transported to the Juvenile Justice Center and charged with aggravated robbery. Inside the store officers found $41worth of merchandise that had been thrown about the floors of the store. Another $19 worth of stolen property was recovered from the female’s purse. The male that was with the female was identified as Armando Sanchez (02/22/1997). He was also charged with aggravated robbery for his part, and he was transported to the City Detention Center. A third male, Joshua Broyles (12/09/1992) was found waiting in a vehicle in the back seat for the other two to exit. After an investigation, officers found he was intoxicated, but it was determined that he was not involved in the robbery. He was charged with public intoxication, a Class C Misdemeanor.
