Case Number: 1510210037
A 41 year old female victim called Corpus Christi Police after she found her car was missing from her driveway.
Officers responded to the victim’s home, located in the 14400 block of Pentridge Drive, and were told that the vehicle stolen was a 2005 Honda Accord.
About an hour later police were called to the Home Depot parking lot, located at 13202 Leopard Street, where a witness told Officers that she saw a 2005 Honda Accord, believed to be the stolen vehicle, and an older model Chevrolet Impala enter the parking lot. Two men got out and started switching the license plates between the two vehicles. After switching the plates, the two vehicles left the parking lot.
Police were then called to the Wal Mart Store, located at 3800 U.S. Highway 77, and told that two males had entered the store and attempted to use a credit card at the jewelry counter belonging to a female. Employees refused to allow the purchase.
Officers then learned that a 76 year old female had her purse stolen from her car while it was parked at her home in the 4100 block of Rehfeld Road. The suspects who took the purse then attempted to use the credit cards a little later at the store. Employees from the Wal Mart Store then saw the two suspects leave in the stolen 2005 Honda Accord.
Video images from the store show the two suspects who are believed to be involved in all of these crimes.
