Location: 4200 Calallen Drive
Offense: Burglary
P.C. 30.02       State Jail Felony
Case Number: 1506010030
Corpus Christi Police Detectives have released camera surveillance images of suspects they believe broke into Calallen High School two days into the summer break.

Officers were investigating another burglary call at Magee Elementary School, located at 4201 Calallen Drive,  on June 1, when they became aware of several suspects seen walking around inside Calallen High School, 4001 Wildcat Drive.  Officers responded to the high school and saw that the suspects had gained entry to the school through a back shutter near the cafeteria office.

While inside, the suspects damaged items in a small room and several administrators offices were broken into and ransacked.

As officers were attempting to secure this scene, they saw four suspects exit the rear of the high school and get into a dark colored suburban. The suburban had its lights off and left going through a field in an attempt to escape. The suburban came out from the field at a car wash, located at 14058 Northwest Boulevard, with its lights off and drove through the front chained gate of the business. The suspect vehicle was last seen traveling west on Northwest Boulevard.

Officers do believe the suspect vehicle had extensive damage done to the front of it when it crashed through the chain.

Surveillance camera images show several suspects inside of the high school.

Detectives believe that both, the elementary school and high school burglaries and the destruction to property are related.

Detectives need your help identifying any of the suspects involved in this crime.  Anyone with information about this case should call the Corpus Christi Police Criminal Investigations Division at 886-2840.
